If it makes you happy I will put some tinsel and baubles on my weeping fig. That's almost as big as a tree! Of course, the weeping fig might not be too impressed.

I will try to find my baubles tomorrow morning while I am waiting for TV. If I can't find them, I will go out on Monday and buy baubles and tinsel.

Evening everyone, well badvoc & carolina. I've just got back from dinner out with exH & the DCs. He's going on holiday over Christmas so this weekend is the last they'll see of him until New Year. We're exchanging some of the presents tomorrow so I need to get wrapping done & I am procrastinating.

Sorry for hogging the Musketeers earlier & I hope mouse got her wine from Athos. I couldn't hear her shouting over the noise of the hoover. I think Athos left it on and legged it with the wine. And the brandy. And the sherry.

Evening all! I have returned from signal blackspot purgatory, victorious but fucking cold. .

Super successful day for the boys which is well deserved so v happy all round. We decided to risk sneaking ds4 in with us to The Hobbit tonight so treated them all to pizza and the pictures. Absolutely brilliant, hugely enjoyed it. Luke Evans is sooooo good in it. As is MF and BC obviously. I wonder whether LetUs would fancy the dragon? Also v sweet minions Christmas trailer thing. Plus saw the Star Wars trailer on the big screen and it does look amazing.

Off skating tomorrow but afterwards I am fully commuted to rewatch at 9 as per 'the plan'.

Off to peruse the Tom pics of the day on Twitter. Would LOVE to see him on the big screen in something in which he isn't wearing a nylon track suit.

Responding to Mrs Bee from last thread which closed while I was actually typing!

New telly arrives sometime tomorrow MrsBee. Men have been paid to unpack it and tune it all in while I sit comfortably with a cup of tea on the sofa.

You cannot imagine how excited I am in part due to the fact that the old TV is one given to me by my ex about eighteen months ago when he replaced it with a newer model.

Following the major falling out with him earlier this week it will be good to see the back of it as it is the only thing I have in this flat that has any connection to him. Oh... and I have now blocked his number on my phone simply to avoid anymore contact. If there is no contact there can be no future arguments.

More to the point, I will now have a fully working telly for Jan 02, 2015 !!!
