Zombie continues her cancer journey after chemo

The thread in Chat has gone to thread heaven. Silly Zombie thought it wasn't due to go until tomorrow so missed her chance to ask HQ to move it here.

She slept well last night and feels reasonably well this morning.

Hello Zombie, I've missed most of your threads.

There seems to have been a mishap chez Yegods and I just have a bottle of apple cider vinegar beside the bed. No yummy gin here. Will have to put that right fairly soon.

I'm very worried Zombie! You spilt gin?!

From what I can see Zombie is asking MNHQ to put her other threads back on for others to read but will prob have to wait now until tomorrow and maybe even Monday.

mummy, thank you. It's only the most recent thread that has been lost and that I'm asking HQ to raise from the dead. The others are still around but I need to find them and put them in order.

Good evening Zombie, have your zombie cats caught that rat yet ? How has today been ? Another wet day here and tonight was chilly and for the first time we had the heating on for a couple of hours.
Has Zombieson started his new job ?

Am I the only wondering if the zombie cats tried tidying up the spilt gin? I have a vision of the cats asleep on their backs with their legs in the air, snoring loudly.

Evening all.

Rat update: There is no doubt that the cats did their duty. Eau de dead rat has started this evening. Unfortunately I will need help getting to it to remove it as it is behind two TV units and I can't move them by myself at the moment.

Earlier this evening I went to stand up to go put the kettle on. My right foot was completely and utterly dead. I fell quite awkwardly twisting the foot and ankle as I did so. I remained on the floor for a few minutes trying to tidy up the contents of the side table that I had knocked over on my way down. Then I manoeuvered myself up into a chair. I stood up and was able to bear weight. The top and side of the foot are very sore but there's no swelling. Walking isn't a lot of fun and I'm using a stick to help. It really was very strange. It was as though something had just turned the foot off and then back on again.

I've asked the advice of the lovely ladies in my cancer support group and the general consensus is that this is highly likely to be a new side effect from the chemo. I have my next Herceptin on the 22nd and will mention it to the team then. If I have a recurrence before then I'll get in touch with them straight away.

I'm at the hospital tomorrow for my CT scan and if the foot is still painful then I'll pop around to minor injuries and have it checked out.

Oh, Zombie, I'm sorry about your foot! And lol at tidying up the table from prone position. This sort of thing happens to me sometimes (ME), it is indeed very odd. Neurological fuckups never compute!

Do, please, get it checked out tomorrow. Don't let the ache stop you sleeping, we have gin chemicals to fix that
