Anyway, well done leading the convo away from your lady problem but it won't wash! I've got to go and feed dd soon so do you want some help or not?

wobblyknicks · 12/05/2004 20:07

Didn't mean that to sound impatient - just being bossy!!

jmg1 · 12/05/2004 20:29

just been emailed this, good for a little laugh

jmg1 · 13/05/2004 17:23

cd, at least we are second does that make you feel warm and complete?

OP posts:
CountessDracula · 13/05/2004 18:08

It does jmg. After all, coming second best is close to ideal (as Cerys would say)

Sherioushly though, I am please to see that stroppy beetroot faced arse Fergie put in his place! I wonder if he'll resign.

Do you think Ranieri is off now?

jmg1 · 13/05/2004 18:13

I think Ranieri is a good bloke but if they can get their new man, he will be off, if so I hope he stays in the Premiership.
I am almost tempted to call a cease fire (well until next season) will sleep on it

OP posts:
CountessDracula · 13/05/2004 18:17

now that would be NO fun at all

I wouldn't worry, bet you win next season )(rapid arse covering by Drac)

jmg1 · 13/05/2004 18:31

do ya think fergie likes a wee drop of scotch

OP posts:
CountessDracula · 13/05/2004 18:34

and several vats of red wine every night by all accounts. (mind you I can talk)

You would think all that booze would chill him out a bit wouldn't you?

kiwisbird · 13/05/2004 18:40

I'll drink to anything that pisses off Alex Fergusson. Mind you I drink to anything anyways!
amazing what smut goes on here when I turn my pc of for 24 hrs! (Hardly ever happens LOL)

CountessDracula · 13/05/2004 18:42

Terrible isn't it?!!?

Anyway I must shoot soon as have to go and support my mum - my stepfather (lived with him since aged 10) had a massive stroke last week and has now developed pneumonia - think he will die v soon so I am off to Hampshire to say goodbye to him and to try and cheer everyone up a bit with dd.

Hope you all have nice weekends

kiwisbird · 13/05/2004 18:44

Hope he is ok and not in too much pain... If you are anywhere near Fleet pop in for a coffee!
xx

CountessDracula · 13/05/2004 18:46

Thanks Kiwi! He is apparantly not in pain - is not really conscious.

My parents live near Winchester, sadly not that near Fleet. Luckily my mum and stepfather moved next door to my dad (they are all best of friends) just before xmas so she will get lots of support from him too.

jmg1 · 15/05/2004 18:48

How long has van de sar played for Arsenal? Doh

How is your stepfather doing cd?

OP posts:
CountessDracula · 16/05/2004 18:42

Oh didn't you know we signed him just before the game jmg!

He's not good I'm afraid Thanks for asking.
They don't think he's going to make it. On plus side his pneumonia is responding to antibiotics at last but I can only think that they are prolonging his life for no reason, he will have no quality of life if he does make it tbh. I know he would hate that.

jmg1 · 16/05/2004 22:21

sorry about that cd, hopefully hs is in good hands and they are keeping him as comfortable as possible.

OP posts:
CountessDracula · 16/05/2004 22:49

Thanks mate. He seems comfortable enough.

Piffleoffagus · 16/05/2004 22:52

also sad to hear that CD, hope at least he is still comfortable and not too out of it to enjoy some family times.
Thinking of you
xx

CountessDracula · 17/05/2004 01:24

Thanks kiwi/piff (great new name btw!)

fairyfly · 17/05/2004 01:30

Sorry cd, just read that then and i wish you the best of luck, , i hope you have love and support x

jmg1 · 27/05/2004 12:00

Come on Denis Wise! it is unlikely but it would be great if the ex Chelsea hero and his Milwall lions can beat Man U today.

OP posts:
jmg1 · 07/06/2004 16:43

Chelsea get their man, be scared Gooners, be very scared!!

OP posts:
CountessDracula · 07/06/2004 16:53

Glad you got him, will be even funnier if you win nothing again (unlikely it has to be said dammit!)

jmg1 · 16/06/2004 01:56

cd, For you England or France is it a dilemma?

OP posts:
CountessDracula · 16/06/2004 13:02

It WAS jmg until Santini decided (very strangely!) to move to shite hart lane. Now am firmly supporting England (as firmly as I can - TBH I'm not that fussed about international footie, I just can't get excited about MICHAEL BLOODY OWEN scoring )

Of course if we get past to the knockouts I will be as rabid as anyone else!
