ellismummy - is ellis on cm net 2 years blonde hair?

ellesmum · 22/09/2006 23:18

ive never heard of any child that has been turned down after a consultation with any agency! i think if you get called in its more or less a definate yes.

ellismummy · 22/09/2006 23:20

He is but that is an awful photo, really blurry, dont know why I sent it! I have emailed admin at cm a couple more to put on instead, I cant do it myself as cant reduce the pic size so will have to wait till they put it on.

Ellemae is a bit older than ellis i think? she looks much older than a toddler, I think it is her lovely hair like everyone says.

ellesmum · 22/09/2006 23:23

elle is 2 years and 9 months, she does look older in photos! your ellis is very cute!

ellesmum · 22/09/2006 23:24

ellesmum · 22/09/2006 23:42

ellismummy · 22/09/2006 23:42

marymary, thankyou, i didnt think that pic was too good, its not the one i emailed to ua the ones i emailed to ua i have sent to cmnet but have to wait for them to be put on.
no I didnt know anything about white t-shirts, at least we already have one, not that they stay white for long.

ellesmum, havent got them yet, perhaps will check in the morn.

ellesmum · 22/09/2006 23:43

ellesmum · 22/09/2006 23:45

just sent them to u again ellismummy

ellismummy · 22/09/2006 23:55

ellesmum, def think the ones of her in pink top are best esp the top two, she really is beautiful. cant wait to see mine, the photoshoot wasnt quite what i expected but hopefully will get a couple of good photos

marymay · 22/09/2006 23:57

ellesmum.he is wearing a skeletons outfit with a black hood on his head (he is seven).just hope they use his pictures as there were three or four other children dressed up in different outfits.he has been doing it since u/a june intake had two jobs and five casting so far.

ellismummy · 23/09/2006 08:47

marymary, did the mum who didnt get in say why they said no?
What happens at the consultation?

princessmel · 23/09/2006 09:32

Hi, Just seen Hunkers Message and noticed the 'e' on the end on child in the thread title! It does look like its been written in an old fashioned way!

yackertyyack · 23/09/2006 09:39

don't want to put a dampner on things but UA don't take on all the kids they see for assesments. I remember in february time when they were seeing babies some of the mums on here didn't get accepted! Sorry!

julie4travel · 23/09/2006 09:57

princessmel- i started the thread with the spelling mistake in the title sorry!!!! my spelling is terrible. Ellismum- i presume you are like me and already paid out to TS - are you going to ring them and ask in theory what would the chance be of getting your money back prior to the shoot? I haven't applied to UA yet was thinking about it too. I am in the same ituation feel its a long time to wait till they rep in January and my dd is missing out! If you do speak to them let me know what they say

OP posts:
marymay · 23/09/2006 10:28

ellismummy-if i remember rightly they said they had another little girl on their books that looked a lot like her.dont know if that was the real reason or she just said that.the consultation is low key and friendly.hair and make up(dont surpose that applies to little ones).then they have their photos taken wearing white top and blue jeans.my kids photos are great, best ive ever seen of my ds.they take details measure them and give you a call about a week later to offer you a contract.well thats what happened when we went.

ellesmum · 23/09/2006 10:44

marymay- will def look out 4 him.

hadnt heard of any child getting turned down after assesment!!!

good luck with your decision ellismummy, sure he will do well with either agency. it is a hard choice.

julie4travel · 23/09/2006 11:02

Kmonkeyface - welcome to the thread. My ds was with scallywags who were very professsional photos superb from shoot. really quick with updating measurements etc. On the down side high start up fees, only 1 job in a year leads me to believe they have so many kids on their books that they have so much choice , I could be totally wrong. I changed agency this year due to those reasons above. Good luck in your decisions. you could look at www.childmodelling.net for agency profiles etc

OP posts:
julie4travel · 23/09/2006 11:04

marymary were you represented by them straight away after they offered the contract or did you have to wait till the begining of the year like TS do?

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 23/09/2006 12:02

I think you should always write "childe" on the moggellers thread title. It seems appropriate somehow

marymay · 23/09/2006 12:13

hi julie4travel-they represent you as soon as you sign your contract.
