oh lanismum i forgot to say fair enough about the stokke cot i think they're fab but just in case (touch wood) your little one has reflux or sleeping probs at least you know of an option!

hi all..if anyone comes across any advertising for bhs halloween costumes i would be very grateful if they could post on here.i know the costumes are in store but when i went in there last week they had no advertising up .the girl in the shop wasnt very helpful and their head office wasnt much help.i cant wait to see ds in his first photo shoot. thanks

hi, am new to this site just looking for info if any1 can help my daughter has been accepted with rascals, childsplay models and scallywags waiting for b&b an UA to get back but does anyone have any info on the 1st 3?!!! xxx

please help! - I have a dilemma. My son is due to start with ts, and going for photoshoot in oct, however I also emailed pics to ua as heard they were looking now and they would like to have him in for a consultation in nov but cant give me any more details at the mo.
If i decide to go for ua and they say no after consultation then it will be too late to go back to ts.
I would rather ua as heard many success storys with jobs and their fees are much lower than ts, however I dont want to risk losing out on both!

what do you think I should do?

hi i know rascals and scallywags are good agencies, they get the work, but have very high start up fees and have a lot of children on their books which makes internal compertition very high. most people ive spoken to who are with or have been with say their children havent got that many jobs or castings.
i would wait to see what b and b say(although they take around 5 weeks to reply) and urban angels as they are both free to go with. good luck

ellismummy - wow that is a big dilema! because urban angels have invited him in for an assesment, they obviously like him and are interested and i doubt very much they would turn him down they are very choosy so if they had any doubts i dont think they would want 2 see him. well if i was u i would wait on urban angels as they are a very good agency and you will save alot of money going with them, i also know there kids get alot of work, have always seen children from ua at casting jobs.
it is a hard decision but do what you feel is right.

Thanks for your reply ellesmum its great to be able to get advice on here, I wonder how long it would take before he can be represented by ua if we get accepted, as with ts the contract starts in jan, just feel that we have wasted so much time on getting the right agency as have been waiting for ts photoshoot since we got accepted in may. Ellis is on top form at the moment,so content, I am so eager to get started with him, as everyone must feel waiting for a first job.

ellismummy-my dd and ds are with u/a.myself i think they are a great agency.can you not put off ts untill you been to u/a test shoot in november? then see how it goes .if they sign him up which i am sure they will,they will represent him straight away.hope this helps

Thanks marymary, I dont think I could put off ts as they only do the photoshoot for the model book once a year in october and they only accept people from may-sept so it would be too late to change my mind in nov if ua say no.

I would def prefer ua but am scared they may say no after consultation and then we end up losing out on both.

has anyone on here been for a consultation and been turned turn after it?
