JJMumsnet · 15/09/2006 11:08

Hi all - just wanted to drop a quick note about your safety and the internet. We have been made aware that legitimate modelling agencies do not solicit photos and/or models on internet talk boards and would also like to remind you to use the same basic precautions you would when meeting anyone from the internet - make sure you meet in a public place and that others know where you are going.

julie4travel · 15/09/2006 11:35

strawb- have a superb time!

Thankyou tinkerbel5. I Did just contact Tuesday child agency - (based in Macelsfield) and a few other agencies.

Tinkerbel5 · 15/09/2006 15:37

dariusmummy have you heard back from the agencies, if so what did they say ? do you have a boy or girl, how old ?

dariusmummy · 15/09/2006 15:40

Hi I have a boy aged 3, Darius, the agencies were very positive and seemed keen,

dylansluckymum · 15/09/2006 16:24

hi everyone looks like we may see some of you sat for the cm.net shoot. we're there for 2pm along with ellesmum.

had the white co shoot today in sussex, was the same place as you thorntons, lovely house and lovely people. glad to hear yours went well! ours did too i think. we spent a lot more time travelling than shooting (4 hrs vs 2 hrs) but they got their pics quickly which was good. they won't be used until next summer though!

there was an 11 mo old boy from bizzykids there btw so they obviously do get work! she did say that it was his first job though.

littlemadam · 15/09/2006 16:25

Dariusmummy, try boss, tuesdayschild and I think kidz are there, theres lots of info on childmodelling about them. We live in Leeds tho and are with a London agency. If theres a direct train you could consider that, but DS is a bit older at 6 and really enjoys the train.

Well done everyone on all the jobs, the babies are go!!!! Looking forward to seeing the results!

dylansluckymum · 15/09/2006 16:27

dariusmummy that sounds promising hope it goes well for your ds!

i'm sad about missing sunday will it be a problem if i leave it as a maybe depending on how tired i'm feeling or will that mess up reservations? cyan?

dariusmummy · 15/09/2006 16:39

Thankyou littlemadam for your msg, I did contact tuesday's child and they were very keen to see Darius. He also loves train journies!

dylansluckymum · 15/09/2006 16:51

i must share i'm so excited dylan just rolled over for the first time from back to front!!! he's been going front to back for ages was beginning to think he'd never go the other way! and i managed to get it on video for dp hooray!

ellesmum · 15/09/2006 16:58

well done for dylans job with white co, glad it went well!!

littlemadam · 15/09/2006 17:22

Well done Dylan, on both the job and the rolling over...only thing is now is the start of mobility!!!! Prepare to have eyes in the back of your head!!

Julie, you might yet hear on the 19th. Think nearly all our jobs have been confirmed day before.

ellesmum · 15/09/2006 17:25

does anyone know how old your lo has to be to go in the model book at kids london?

Quadrophenia · 15/09/2006 17:29

Thanks justine, the forthcoming meet up is in public though so shouldn't be a problem. Also agree that as parents it is important to be aware of our childrens safety and privacy particularly on the internet, specifically when ages, names etc are given.

Cyan are you out there????? can't find Sundays details anywhere i am hoping to make it so can someone let me know cheers x

2ManyPimms · 15/09/2006 18:35

Can someone refresh my poor memory...is the meet this weekend or next?

Good work, Dylan - you rolly-polly little guy! Glad that the White Company shoot went well!

Hellohellohello to everyone!!!

Didn't go well today with the John Lewis shoot. DS got kitted out and had a couple of snaps done but they are going with the other kid. Oh, well...can't win 'em all! DS knew that was going to be the case going into the shoot. On the up-side we had a great lunch at the studio!!!!

strawberrymilkshake · 15/09/2006 18:48

Well done dylan. Im glad it went well. Hope you have lots of roly poly fun now dylan.

ellesmum · 15/09/2006 19:08
