hi

OP posts:
housemum · 14/09/2006 10:21

Actually, just noticed a few more nice ones in her first batch. Oh dear, more choices...

Tinkerbel5 · 14/09/2006 10:21

mrratty I was going on the same assumption aswell cause they said they liked DD aswell and I was even told a shoot date, maybe it was a height issue after all as DD is a very small 5 year old.

Awww you're poor daughter bless her, DD has a nice bruise aswell on her face so I suppose the shoot wasnt meant to be for us.

housemum · 14/09/2006 10:31

Jule - which blonde do you mean? Mine is blonde 3-year-old - she's holding a purple ball in one pic and strangling BBWBabeLisa's baby in another! One photo looks like she's being a nit nurse as she's feeling the baby's hair!!

housemum just had a peek at the photos, some cuties on there.

housemum · 14/09/2006 10:34

Oh I'm so useless with technology!! I've just worked out that if you press the arrow keys (left/right) you can scroll through the whole lot. There was me squinting at the little pics and clicking each one... Doh...

julie4travel · 14/09/2006 10:38

housemum thats who i mean - she is beautiful! She looks older than three, whose she with?
she looks really angelic yet i am sure at three maybe she isn't! My little girl is three and when she starts playing with my son and his toys she is more like a football hooligan.

she started ballet classes yesterday and she had her hair all tided up in a aliceband etc which the ballet teacher made them take off to put on cats whiskers and tails to be like cats. when she put the aliceband on afterwards she couldn't get it on right and had it accross her forehead. she looked more like rambo in a ballet costume!

housemum · 14/09/2006 10:38

Anyone else's LOs on there? Which ones are they?

mrratty · 14/09/2006 10:47

Housemum - Your DD is beautiful!
Tink - they were looking for 4 year olds but they seemed happy at DD's height at 109cms.

housemum · 14/09/2006 10:51

Thank you Julie! She's with Norrie carr but we have had not a sniff of work for ages.

She can be angelic at times, but more often than not she's in her own little world. She had ballet on Saturday, which she loves (she's a very "girly" girl). After the lesson I found out that when they were asked to be fairies waving wands, she wanted to be a pink and purple elephant, and she was making up her own dance. And she wants to be Minnie Mouse when she grows up...

Who's your 3 year old with? Do you get much work?

Tinkerbel5 · 14/09/2006 10:52

mrratty DD's height was bordering 108/109, it does seem very strange, if you ever find out what happened with this shoot let me know

julie, pmsl you're daughter, bless her.

housemum · 14/09/2006 10:54

I have asked Mumsnet to remove my posting earlier with the link to the CM site

julie4travel · 14/09/2006 11:04

housemum- my dd is starting with trult scrumptious yet wont be rep until 01 jan! I didn't have as many agencies wanting her so had to pay the higher fees with TS. So with her i am just waiting till shes rep to see if she will get something.

we were going to go with nc for my ds yet then b and b come up trumps and i went for the min fees approach. nc would have rep him straight away where as if he went with ts like my dd he would have had to wait the 6 months too.

hopefully work will pick up for her soon, she really is lovely so doubt you will have long to wait. i may even see you at shoots next year then if they are the same age group, My daughter is blonde yet her hair is naturally curly so totally different sort of look.

3lambs · 14/09/2006 11:08

Morning!
Newdkmum i too am new and agree could get very addictive!!
Thanks ellismummy, your ds is very cute and what a blondie!
Julie, we did go to B&B, just had chat and photos taken and she said yes so took forms away to send back. Thought Kipsey was really nice, surprised at only 3 of them tho! Has your ds done alot of work before?
Gorgeous photos of everyones kids on cm shoot

julie4travel · 14/09/2006 11:15

3lambs- i went down there and my son had to go for a photo with the spiderman thing on teh wall downstairs before we left! My ds was with Scallywags last year and only had 1 job in a year, that was a licence jobbie too so all in all the fees we paid to scallywags weren't paid back from this one job. I thought they were professional yet wasn't ever contacted whatsoever apart from for the job and i didn't like to call and ask if it was quiet for his agegroup etc. Personally I wanted a smaller agency this year (in number of kids that is) so they can know him more personally and not be just a number theirfore hopefully suggested for work.

He went with CS management for tv work from June as he wan't with a modelling agent and had 2 castings. One he couldn't do as it was my dds birthday party 15 mins after the appointment and we were doing it at home (my son was gutted he couldn't go) and teh other one was for a commercial yet he didn't get it.
So he has been really quiet yet he is not everyones cup of tea as he is a red head and some say no red heads in the criteria of jobs etc.

saying that the film he did on sat was because teh lead actor was a red head as a kid so he got that role, it can go two ways i suppose

Hopefully work will come soon. for ref my ds is in this months star of the month on cm net. (you can nose who he is he should be first kid)

Tinkerbel5 · 14/09/2006 11:16

3lambs B & B are a good agency, DD is with them, we might even bump into you one day on a job

princessmel · 14/09/2006 11:27

Aaarrgggghhhh! I'm getting fed up with CM.net.
I can't see any pics apart from the actual Star of week and month etc. I just get boxes with crosses in when I try to look at the other ones. I've emailed them and they said to check my firewall. I've now turned that off but I still can't see them. Can anyone help?

Tinkerbel5 · 14/09/2006 11:32

mel does CM host the pictures themselves or are they hosted by imageshack, I know imageshack was down earlier.

I you post the link I will look for you.

3lambs · 14/09/2006 11:32

I hope so tinkerbel5, how old is your dd?

Julie is he the boy with his arms out? Hes really cute, got that cheeky chappy look!! I guess things are quiet because of schools just gone back, hopefully will get busier soon.
I too applied to SW and also BK and got yes's but the info on here made me try other agencies.

Tinkerbel5 · 14/09/2006 11:34

I can see Taylor, Lilly, Fraser and Ellis so far

julie4travel · 14/09/2006 11:34

3lambs - yes that is him although that photo is a bit old now. think you went with one of the best ones. scallywags fees were even more this year hence me looking at other agencies thats when i first come on here looking for info etc. quite addictive been on every since!

Tinkerbel5 · 14/09/2006 11:35

3lambs DD is 5, she has hair like you're fraser but longer and brown

3lambs · 14/09/2006 11:39

3lambs · 14/09/2006 11:42
