No, you've not missed it. It's a week today. That's the main reason Zombie is absolutely determined to come home from hospital no later than Monday if it's at all possible. She doesn't want to spend even one second of her birthday in hospital.

Oh, Zombie forgot to report that all science experiments are gone. Containers soaked, soaked again, washed x 2, bleached and washed again. They look fine...

Oh, oh, oh! She also forgot to report that she's found someone to tackle and tame the garden! One of her neighbours called around this morning and asked if she'd like him to do it. She nearly bit his hand off. We've agreed terms and he will start this week. He knows Zombie will be in hospital for a few days. It will be soooooo nice to come home to a garden that is at least starting to be tidied.

Hello Dustbin™.

Thank you for thinking of us, Bewitched.

We (ZombieCatT, ZombieCatM and catself) are really happy to have ZMama back home with us. We're also very pleased that she brought Auntie Becky home with her for a couple of days. Auntie Becky makes a huge fuss of us.

Zmama is doing well. She has told us that we need to be gentle with her for a while. In particular we aren't to pull on the strange tube she has been attached to. She tells us it will be gone in a couple of more days. We will still be very gentle with her.

ZMama and Auntie Becky can't half put the wine and champagne away. I'm also sure I saw ZMama with a whisky last night. Don't tell her I told you that.

I have felt like a wrung out dishrag today . We had supper out with old friends last night and they made me drink cognac [groan]

I am extremely pleased with the garden.

I'm also very comfortable. I've not needed any paracetamol for the last 2 days. I'm just taking it as easy as I can so that the wound can stop weeping and the steri strips can go on Monday or Tuesday.
