And another lovely day with baby snuggles today

We fly out tomorrow, wedding is Saturday.

You would have laughed watching DD2 and I just now packing The Wedding Dress into a hand luggage bag. The tulle and silk and net were overflowing a double bed! We had to line as much as possible with tissue and then squidge it into this tiny case. Very disturbing

Am a bit worried about security making us undo it all
A friend of yours and mine has suggested that DD2 wears it on the plane with a pac-a-mac over the top. Not sure they make those with trains.

Am taking laptop and hoping for connection. If not, will be thinking of you and hoping for a continuing flow of good things for you.

Evening all!

Zombie has had a lovely relaxed weekend. Did a bit of shopping on Saturday and then had a nap. Had a fabulous visit from the delightful Spero and her family on Sunday. We were able to sit out in the garden for a bit. Today has just been lazy.

I've emerged from a trough of low level, anxiety driven trivia today.

Glad to see Zombie's appointment was good today. You've said you get fantastic care and that certainly seems to be the case

I have failed miserably to hire a MOB hat today; apparently it's fashionable for hats to be completely sideways on your head with loads of fireworky stuff flying off in all directions - "that's what everyone wants" she didn't say 'madam' but I heard it anyway.

I looked like a proper narna in all 72 that I tried . I may take the advice of a friend and get a fabulous haircut instead

Shame magi isn't going to Turkey earlier, I could add to her shopping list!

I am extremely pleased with the garden.

I'm also very comfortable. I've not needed any paracetamol for the last 2 days. I'm just taking it as easy as I can so that the wound can stop weeping and the steri strips can go on Monday or Tuesday.

I have felt like a wrung out dishrag today . We had supper out with old friends last night and they made me drink cognac [groan]
