Your restraint is admirable Wink

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 28/03/2014 18:53

Someone is on your other thread offering to send you REAL cheesecake!

Through the post!

Un-licked Shock

IamtheZombie · 29/03/2014 11:50

Ah, un-licked cheesecake. That's one of the people on the "Update: The horses have gone! FYF is on!" thread.

Grin

Back to NCIS. Do you have Sky? The current series (number 11) is being shown on Fox. Fox, Universal and Channel 5 also show episodes from previous series almost every day.

If you can access the box sets (Sky, Netflix, etc.) you really should start watching from the beginning though.

Yes, I followed those threads from early on, lovely. Do you think Chris will actually have an event?

Yup, we do have Sky, will try and find it.

We've been over to the Mill for a while, actually sunny and warm. The old man did an hour of mowing and is now shattered! He used to do 4 hours every week-end before we moved. I tidied a palm tree and pruned some roses and drank some rosé!

I hope you're having a good day Zomb Smile

IamtheZombie · 29/03/2014 18:10

Zombie really hopes so, Bee. Chris has told Zombie where she lives and Zombie would love to camp out there for a night or two.

A day at the Mill sounds lovely. It's been warm enough to have the windows open here. The ZombieCats have liked that.

Zombie is having an OK to good day. She's been making notes and to do lists of everything that she needs to get done before the operation. Having an unmovable deadline should ensure they get done.

Very organised as usual Smile and Ok to good is fine isn't it?

And if we're going back to things, you didn't answer my questions about Hair Grin

IamtheZombie · 29/03/2014 18:55

Sadly, Zombie didn't see the original production of Hair. She did see the revival about 20+ years ago at the Old (Young?) Vic. She took along a younger friend who had never even heard of it but she loved it.

Zombie was a bit wary beforehand as she wasn't at all sure that people who weren't there in those days would be able to capture the spirit of the time. But, it was fantastic. Made Zombie feel 17 again.

Sigh...

Hey and Wine

I loved Hair and was very jealous of a French teacher who had been part of all that scene.

Bee you reminded me that I have a bottle of Rose left from Christmas.

I have to make lists too Z for a meeting with a new consultant and have been'writing it in my head'so need to focus properly and get it in print.

'We need to talk about Kevin' the film is on BBC2 later -Tilda Swinton is amazing, and it is a beautifully shot film with excellent child actors.

Part of my would like to be 17 again but only to make better decisions....

sanssoleil · 29/03/2014 20:58

*me Blush

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 29/03/2014 22:28

Happy to help with the rosé sol Grin

And since you ask, you didn't, I did see Hair at the Shaftesbury when it opened in London, I did take my top off, and always went bra-less in those days.
Everyone took something off and some went full monty Shock

It was deeply fab, and I was 17 Grin

Movie starts in 5, thanks sol xxx

sanssoleil · 29/03/2014 22:41

Yay you!!

YAY YAY

i have dvd of 'Kevin' but will be watching the other Tilda Swinton offering tonight 'I am Love'

Kinda feels superior to dancing in Witley Court!

Peace and Love and Cheese xxxxx

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 30/03/2014 00:52

I thought I might watch 'I am Love' to cheer me up after Kevin!
Everything you said was right, but bloody hell, miserable and desolate Sad

Anyway, yeah baby, that was a good year. Went to Stones in the Park too Grin

Baby girl just got back from Canterbury, got to go make tea.

Tilda looks a bit different in this one! Will rewind later.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 30/03/2014 03:55

Blimey!

I'll probably try to avoid doing that then.

At least I won't be letting him cut my hair.

And I won't be teaching him my secret soup recipe Grin

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 30/03/2014 22:55

That story would make a brilliant opera.

Surprised the Italians didn't think of that.

I noticed even Tilda has slightly dodgy elbows [deeply shallow]

IamtheZombie · 30/03/2014 23:05

HIC!

OP posts:
sanssoleil · 30/03/2014 23:38

sanssoleil · 30/03/2014 23:49

glass of water standing on your head??
chlorpromazine?

more Wine!

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 30/03/2014 23:52

I used to live really close to Glyndebourne Opera House and have several friends who work there so used to get call-ups for last minute dress rehearsal vacancies.

I really persevered because I wanted to like it, and I loved all the trappings.

But I failed. Love everything about it - except the bloody singing Shock

But the story of that film is very operatic hard to take seriously

Can't take any more Tilda, would shoot self Grin

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 30/03/2014 23:54

Oh, and HIC!

More Wine, Z, she speak sense that sol.

IamtheZombie · 30/03/2014 23:55

It wasn't Zombie who went HIC. It was a ZombieCat.

sanssoleil · 31/03/2014 00:02

What a waste of whiskey Sad

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 31/03/2014 00:10

One of the best people-watching sites ever; butler-ed picnics, hired, chauffeured Rolls Royces, then watch them fall asleep in the second half.

And then listen to them sound off about it in the pub/at dinner party the following week Grin
