We had wedding dress fitting this morning; lovely. Followed by wisdom tooth out; not so lovely. Sore and throbbing now [pathetic]

I like hoarding "towelettes" and those dusty, chocolate nut covered things you get with coffee in France in winter.

Sweet potatoes are a bugger to cut and those cheffy mandolines.....I have had two fingertips sewn back on.

Were you doing anything interseting with the butternut squash? I find them difficult to get flavour into.

Apart from marinating in blood, I was roasting it in a fierce oven with rapeseed oil, salt and pepper, chilli and crushed rosemary.

Always difficult to stop it going soggy.

Never used a mandoline, probably for the best

It was a long time ago,and I lost two stone and was off school for three months in my matriculating year.....I nearly died with sepsis because I was 17 and told I would suffer 'discomfort'.....

Childbirth just doesn't compare ,sorry MNetters

I survived but am deeply phobic of dentists and their weasly words.

I worry about everyone who has to have wisdom teeth extracted,but never tell them my story because it is frankly unhelpful xxxx

I consider dentists in the same vein as mechanics, the bastards have you over a barrel. At least with mechanics you can get a second opinion free.

The only thing I've ever heard compared to childbirth, from people who have experienced both, is teeth.
