Zombie is a bit calmer today. She's decided not to ring the surgeon. She'll know what it's about within the next 48 hours anyway.

I went to the hospital with my younger daughter this morning, she was recalled for a colposcopy following her first smear test. It was all very quick and she was given the all clear.
Huge relief.

Definitely a relief, BBB - must have been quite scary waiting to find out (unless she had what I did, which was "insufficient cells on the slide to get a decent result - do it again" - or words to that effect)

MASSIVE thunderstorm here this afternoon - came up from the SW of Sydney, there are some amazing photos of it on FB as it went over Sydney if you can see it - heard the thunder rumbling for about half an hour before it actually reached us! No flooding where we are thankfully, but other places will have copped it. :(

Tonight will be an early night. She's going to take a couple of her sleepy pills and hope for the best. She's made a to do list for tomorrow that should keep her busy all day. Then tomorrow night she'll have a long, soaky bath, take a couple of more sleepy pills and set the alarm for early Friday morning. She'll fortify herself with a double sausage and egg mcmuffin on the way to the hospital.

Zombie likes having a plan.
