Does the tesco photo thing have to be a head and shoulders shot, or do they crop it etc to make it like passport pics.

sha11- i applied my ds for teh star now thing and have just had one of teh emails saying he has been shortlisted, no further info though, did you apply? and get oen of those emails too?

have to share as i'm so pleased with myself. just cleaned our flat from top to bottom! woke up really early for some reason and ds had a nice long nap. all this because we're getting a cleaner in to interview on sat!!! i feel guilty about it but only for a few hrs a week to do the major stuff and some ironing... isn't it funny how i wouldn't want a cleaner to see the place a tip!

dylansluckymummy- you sound like my sister yet every week before the cleaner comes she cleans beforehand! i cant understand it! WEll done though , I could do with doing some of that myself. since the kids have been off seems like a bomb has hit us!

My house always looks like a bomb has hit! Even when its "tidy". I don't understand how people who have little kids can have tidy houses.

Yackerty, I've ordered a set of 8 passport pics for 99p. What a bargain! I cropped the pic too so it was of her head and shoulders so I hope its worked. If it has its so much easier and cheaper than going to one of those boothes. I could only upload one pic at a time though. Do you know how to do a whole folder at once?

shall- few years difference then. My dd is 3 yet i only submitted his details as only registered for star now once under his details!

I just googled tesco photobox. Photobox came up but it didn't actually mention tesco on the website. It does passport pics on it so I just used them. Maybe its not the same company yackerty used. The website I used is www.photobox.co.uk don't know what they have to do with tesco though!

Got a call today to confirm DD for the H of F job on Monday, then a few minutes later were told she has been chosen for a Junior job on the same day! Lucky they are just one tube stop away from each other, DD is doing Junior in the morning and H of F in the afternoon. This is the second time she has had 2 jobs in one day!!!

yummy - it's really exciting that you will see your DD in so many places advertising C&G, I'm really looking forward to seeing the pics!
yackertyyack - Hope the casting went well today.

Morning all! Mratty, wow fab news re your dd`s two jobs on Monday especially as they are so close to each other as well! .Hope everyone else is ok. DD did a job for The White Company catalogue on Thursday. DD had a fun but very tiring day. We wre at the shoot for over 4 hours instead of the planned 2 but hey more money for dd! We met up with our friends who live just around the corner for dinner afterwards. The kids on the shoot got on really well and the parents were lovely too. Have a fab weekend everyone!

Dd's passport pics from photobox came this morning and I only ordered them yesterday afternoon! The cropping worked too. I'm very impressed.

Going to a farm party now and its going to rain all day. Have a nice day.....

Hiya, Sorry if I confused you but yes I use PHOTOBOX - not sure where I got the Tesco from!! The casting went OK - turns out they want a 'family'!!! DH not up for it...says he would do stills but an advert he would get the 'p' ripped out of him to much!!! So am guessing it will be a 'no' but you never can tell with these things!
CONGRATS to your DD MRRATTY......I remember when you posted asking how long do you think it would be for her first casting.....now there is no stopping her!!!
YUMMY.....glad DD did you proud-will look out for her!
CYAN/LANIS - have we got a date yet??? The playcaentre looks fab btw!

was going to go out today with dds but don't want to be caught in any downpours .. thinking about reserving some energy .. whether to go out tonight for a friends b'day or not. Sis said she would look after dds for the night if i wanted ..

have just ordered the tescos photos online to see what they are like, its really cheap so worth the try, saves getting my ds in a photobooth again to muck around again

julie4travel- got back from holiday today and my dd is star of the week on childmodelling and i also got a letter to say kids london have accepted her im pleased with that, im back at cs this week so shes not in there yet, can we do kids and cs ? as with what i'v read on here kids are worth going with

Anyone else with MOT, can you help. I didnt think to ask when we would get a copy and contact sheets from our model book shoot. Does anyone know??

Hello again, I posted a while back about my son who is with KL but seemed ambivalent. We went to a casting last week which he seemed keen to do but when we got there he didn't want to try on the clothes and was very stiff and uncomfortable about the pictures being taken.Should I abandon the whole thing or leave it up to him whether he wants to try another casting?> Interested in any thoughts / experiences thanks.
