the article was very funny martty, i had another look on the debbie mcgee site at all the models and i have to agree that they are not that good looking at all!! especially the men!!

strawberrymilkshake · 14/08/2006 10:40

Morning everyone

Frisbee >> my dd is with cs management also, when she was doing a job there were 2 children at the job who where from aj. There is quite a bit of information on them on www.notapushymum.com if you put aj management in the search bar it will give you a list of all the notices about them. Hope this helps. How old is your dd.

strawberrymilkshake · 14/08/2006 10:45

I would not touch the debbie mcgee agency with a barge pole, basically it seems in my opinion that they are doing what we are told to avoid, travelling around the contry going to different venues in search for models. eh i dont think so.

Also name dropping, really annoys me, saying oh and paul daniels will be there, if anything that would stop me going. I dont know what anyone elses feelings are on this but those i mine

mrratty · 14/08/2006 11:21

If you look at the grils on DM there is a toddler holding her mums hand!!! What are they thinking!!!!!

some of them are pretty scary on the website! i see what you mean about the hand in the picture, the child looks a bit scared! Well i suppose most kids would be after seeing debbie and paul ha ha!!!!!

strawberrymilkshake · 14/08/2006 11:31

I have just looked at that picture, if you click on it, it shows more pics of her and she looks absoloutly petrified of the camera.

princessmel · 14/08/2006 11:35

Oh my god! I'm glad I didn't go. I hope bgum are better than them! Got an email from them today and they do seem very nice. I'm looking forward to the shoot but a bit worried too. dd should have slept on the way so she shouldn't be tired. They do babies under 18months in just their nappy. That sounds cute.

princessmel · 14/08/2006 11:39

Aaaah, the little girl holding the hand does look scared. She's sweet though. I hope its not a total disaster for the kids and parents sakes.

strawberrymilkshake · 14/08/2006 11:42

I agree with you princess. How awful it would be for those los, i hope im wrong in what im thinking, its only my opinion. That lo is really cute.

Good luck with bubblegum.

ellesmum · 14/08/2006 11:50

i noticed the little girl holding a hand it looks terrible, sweet baby though.

ellesmum · 14/08/2006 11:50

bubblegum are meant 2 b fab agency good luck!

princessmel · 14/08/2006 11:59

Thanks everyone. I can't wait to get started. Its been ages since I first looked into it and I'm really looking forward to be able to post dd's first casting and job on here.

frisbee · 14/08/2006 12:19

I know its really bitchy, but LOL, go onto the debbiemcgeemodels site, look under the ladies and have a look at Eunice!!!

She looks like the proverbial "bulldog chewing a wasp!"

I think this agency has lost any credibility it may have had by taking on everyone who applied.

Some of them are obviously not going to get any work, and theyve all paid over £100.00 to get those dreadfull photots done!
What a shame,Paul and Debbie should be ashamed of themselves

princessmel · 14/08/2006 12:22

I think its meant to be an acting/theatre agency aswell as models. Maybe she is not one of the models?!

frisbee · 14/08/2006 12:24

I know, I know, Im sorry I just couldnt resist!

Did you look though!??!.............

princessmel · 14/08/2006 12:41

I agree with you but I was trying to be nice!!

ellesmum · 14/08/2006 12:41

i had a look, it is all so wrong!!!!

julie4travel · 14/08/2006 12:48

frisbee- i thought exactly the same yet didn't want to post anything too negative on looks , I should have joked and said i was the lady yet strawberry has seen me and knows that is not me! thank god. she reminds me of that actress on a programme and she has bright red hair used to be on at about 9pm at night- its really bugging me now as I cant think of her name. she lived with a single gay man desperately trying to find mr right. it was a funny series.i am sure they had teh same glasses. Can anyone put me out of my misery and name the programme?

lanismum · 14/08/2006 12:53

gimmie gimmie gimme!

housemum · 14/08/2006 13:01

Gimme Gimme Gimme - it was Kathy Burke with a red wig & it was excruciating to watch !!

lanismum · 14/08/2006 13:01

oh, her name is cathy burke.

housemum · 14/08/2006 13:03

Anything been going on while I've been away? I have just flicked down the thread (have been away since end July) but when I saw that someone had seen a 3 year old from NC at a CBeebies casting I had to hit my head on the desk and couldn't read any more!! (DD is with NC, she's 3, we've had nothing since Feb - typical that something came up when we were away - I shall console myself with thinking that maybe they just wanted boys...)

lanismum · 14/08/2006 13:03

she was 'vile'

julie4travel · 14/08/2006 13:08

Thank you everyone she does look like her doesn't she?!!!
