booker you got it totally wrong, we were not in any shape or form moaning about our pass words or photos we were told they would be dec or jan so marymay only asked me if i had received mine out of curiousity not out of slagging our agency off, we have no reason what so ever to do that, urban angels are a top agency and i wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone.

yackertyyack · 08/01/2006 20:32

Hiya Gumbee: I posted pictures on a thursday afternoon and had an acceptance letter from them by saturday morning....so they were VERY quick!! But the christmas holidays may make them a bit slower. The fee of £25 is a one off administration fee for under 3s as they do not go in the model book - not sure of the costs involved when they do go in the model book...sorry! and lastly NO we did not have to go to there offices, we just send them new photos and measurements every couple of months.
GOOD LUCK - let us know how you get on.... are you with an agency now???

Gumbee · 08/01/2006 20:41

Thanks Yackertyyack for your quick reply. We are currently with Bizzykidz and have been for 1 year and 3 months, only one casting in that time so thought I would just see if she would be accepted at another agency. My DD is 2.5 - if she is accepted by Kids London I suppose I would have to cancel the contract at Bizzykidz. How old is your one?

Hi Izzyrubi just read your posting and felt compelled to reply.
If someone at Bizzykidz were attacking me I would have kept the emails as evidence. Could you elaborate on the phrase of attacking (did you mean physically!) When I joined Bizzykidz I spoke to them myself and they were yes VERY HONEST about the business and said they WOULD NOT guarantee my DD ANY WORK (did you mistake this for a personal attack on your child). To be honest I appreciated their honesty.
If you say you were being attacked by the staff why did you not speak to the Company Director.

Perhaps I am now being paranoid (as i was being accused of being a Bizzykidz employee earlier) but it seems for every person that gives a positive posting to Bizzykidz suddenly there pops up another negative for them.( Whos to say this is not someone from Urban Angels etc)
In future I think that if mums do have a question then to email the agency directly (Bizzykidz always reply the same day) instead of posting on here.
I am not trying to stir or wind anyone up but this posting of yours just sounded a little bit fishy to me!

Izzyrubi thanx for reply.Just suprises me that you had that experience. In the year I have been with them my calls and emails have always been dealt with in the most polite and efficient way.
I NEVER have any worries about contacting them about anything. And emails are always answered so quickly. As I said beore we mums must start speaking to the agencies direct if we have any questions or gripes.
That is what they are there for.

Hi everyone Happy New Year!

Havent been on here for a while been a bizzy bee with bk...no I am not joking either!! my 2 kids were quite bizzy before xmas after a bit of a lean spell...once again coming on here I see that there has been some silly talk again oh dear me...I am sorry but just got to say this...enid,havent you got anything better to do than criticise someone that has tried to help one of us mums with a query. I bet you would argue that black was white? where the hell did you read into bookers reply that she was advertising? she was actually being helpful and answered a query i had actually, so I am going to call them tomorrow to thank them and tell them to ignore stupid people like you as it may deter the person who wrote it from being so helpful in future.....GET A LIFE WOMAN

MUM007 · 09/01/2006 08:28

Izzyrubi> I am sure most agencies have standard replies to questions via email. When we are talking about our children sometimes being told the harsh reality facts ( your child may not get any work) could have come across to you as being rude.
I am surprised that an employee would put there job on the line by being as you say "attacking".

This is why us mums must be very careful in what we post on here as it could be taken for slanderous.

Enid · 09/01/2006 08:33

don't threaten slander MUM007

this is a discussion website where people are free to discuss their experiences, good or bad. If you are not a bizzykids employee then I hope you can accept that not everyone has a happy experience with them.

This happens with many things in life, it is only natural it would happen with modelling agencies.

Please don't turn this website into an advertising forum for bizzykids. If some people have had bad experiences with them then they are free to post. Likewise I am glad you have found them so helpful.

Nothing in Izzyrubi's posts could be construed as slander legally btw.

MUM007 · 09/01/2006 09:07

Oh Enid! Please in future read my posts correctly. No-one is threatening slander. I am just stating that using words like "attacking" which is a very strong word should not be used lightly. After all there is NO evidence anyway.
Secondly yes you have hit the nail on the head. Let people come on here with their experiences.
But this seems in your case ONLY if they have had negative experiences with Bizzykidz. You do not seem to do this to any other agency.
You soon jumped on my back when i posted positive experience with Bizzykidz accusing me of being an employee!!!!
Does this mean then that you are an employee of one of the other agencies?
Do you even have a child that models?
Why dont you give anyone advice or help on your experiences.
I am just slightly suspicious of this whole thing now thats all.
If you have some valuable input please contribute if not please do not try to cause an argument. After all we are all supposed to be grown-ups!!!!!!

Blondeinlondon · 09/01/2006 09:17

This is an internet message board - Izzy gave her experiences and doesn't need to have any evidence!!

Enid is as free to post on this thread as anyone else
