Hi, I'm new on here but having been reading this thread for a few months now.

Just a quick note for SH11. I went to an Inspired Models interview the other week and wsn't really inpressed with them. The website looks really good but after meeting them I'm having second thoughts (hence the reason why it's taking us so long to get back in touch with them!). They seemed very young and inexperienced within the modelling world. It was a very quiet office and doesn't seem to be much happening there. Maybe I just went on a quiet day, who knows, but there was just something there that said that maybe this wasn't the right agency for us.

Apparently, one of their little lads had just come back from a photo shoot in Tokyo and another had just done a shoot in Spain for Burberry???? They were certainly interested in my DD but as I said maybe it was just us??

totallyfloaty35 · 08/12/2005 10:45

hi perfumelady, i had 1 photo e mailed to me but not had anything through post, have you?only my eldest is with urban angels, she is 10, how old is your DD?
Does anyone know which e mail address you send applications to on the MOT site,is it new faces one or junior one?

tigeryuan · 08/12/2005 11:18

totallyfloaty35 - its [email protected]. i sent my ds photos to them yesterday, and they got back to me on the same day. They wanted to see us, but, I've confimed the date yet, as their office seems far away from where we live.

tigeryuan · 08/12/2005 11:48

sorry, i mean i haven't confirmed the date yet!!
does anyone knows how far is the office from the Berkhamsted station?

mythumbelinas · 08/12/2005 12:35

tigeryuan - if u book your interview they will send u info on how to get there by car, train, etc.
I had a look and MOT suggest getting a taxi from Berkhamsted station .. it only takes a few mins.
It took me 35 mins by car from London .. straight up A41.

mythumbelinas · 08/12/2005 13:02

tigeryuan - MOT also have a central london office .. maybe u could go for interview there instead xx

tigeryuan · 08/12/2005 13:20

Thats what i thought that i could go to the london office, but, they told me the London office is for adult models.
Thanks for you info. I think will go there by public transport!
Do you think its worth to go?

mythumbelinas · 08/12/2005 13:37

tigeryuan, yes, i think u should go .. they don't ask to be sole agency either. I think i was offered to go central office, coz Rachel was going on hols, but i waited to see her .. she's v nice.

tigeryuan · 08/12/2005 14:23

Thanks.
I'll call her tomorrow to see whether its possible to meet up in the London office.

Just checked out the Kids London website, they're located in Dulwich, its really close to where we live. May be I should check it out, I haven't send them any photos yet, as they don;t accept application via email. It'll much easier if they do!!

mythumbelinas · 08/12/2005 14:29

I know!! .. it's not too bad posting tho .. i just printed out pic and posted instead

marymay · 08/12/2005 14:50

hi perfumlady . is your dd casting for unilever.as we got a call on wednesday as well.

sh11 · 08/12/2005 17:21

hi all, when I said about the picture I did not at all mean I would change the pictures, meaning your babies etc are not photogenic etc, I meant changing the pictures as in cropping, changing the colour and brightness, zooming in and all that, anyway sorry if anyone thought I meant anything else.

sh11 · 08/12/2005 17:26

hi, dancingtinky
I was just wondering did they mention costs at all, photoshoot, fees please can u give me as much info u can, i think they will certainly build up a big portfolio of clients very soon as their aim is quality not quantity. Thanks

perfumelady · 08/12/2005 17:54

hi marymay yes it is for unilever are you going?

perfumelady · 08/12/2005 18:02

marymay i guess our dd's will get called for a few of the same things they are nearly the same age, my dd has long brown hair and brown eyes how about yours? just wondering if they are looking for a certain look that why i ask and if it's more than one child that they want, do you know.
