Just had a call from the solicitors and WE WON!!!!

Hoorah Hoorah - I am sooo happy.

There is a hearing on 2nd February to sort out all the arrangements for X2b to have contact with DD but other than that she is going to reside with me.

Thank you thank you for all of your help and support and all the lovely messages you have sent me.

Thanks all. I am sitting here not quit sure what to do - want to get house super sparkling and clean for DDs arrival tomorrow and make sure all her fave things are in the fridge.

DP and I going out to dinner tonight after I have my haircut - lovely hairdresser coming round at 4pm and I am sure she will have a drink with me - oh I am soooooo happy.

And as of tomorrow morning I am going to be a non-smoker again - I will need the money to be honest and it is only this court thing that has kept me smoking.

Wow I don't know what to say - my boss even just called me fron Dubai to say congratulations - I just can't believe that this whole thing is finally over.

Thank you all - you are truely lovely people and deserve all the happiness that comes your way.

I know this may sound a bit contrite but believe me the thing I have learnt through all of this is we are sooo much stronger than we give ourselves credit for - even when you feel you can't cope you actually have no choice - put each foot in front of the other and at some point things will get better - they get bloody awful and sometimes things get worse but there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Twinkie, I keep coming back to this thread and reading all the comments with a big grin and tears in my eyes - having had the whole story, pretty much from the start, played out on MN it's like coming to the perfect ending of an emotional film - happy ever after!
