As an offshoot of the Baby Modelling thread here is the new and improved thread for all questions you may have regarding agencies, the industry or just to relate general experiences. The last thread is hereby laid to rest - it was 5 YEARS OLD! Jeez!

If you want to DEBATE or CRITICISE go to the "Child Modelling - Debate" thread.

7777777 · 30/01/2006 17:22

have you got your man over tonight cyan

cyan · 30/01/2006 17:22

oh yeah im actually quite annoyed! as I was driving back from my errands (well if you call going to starbucks an errand taht is!), some plonker smacked into my wing mirror and drove off. he was driving quite an old car and ive only had my car a month so was v p**sed off. manage to fix it back on but when i checked as soon as i got home the plonker has knocked the indicator cover off and knowing my luck will prob cost me a few pennies to get fixed. silly git.

cyan · 30/01/2006 17:25

yes, but im going out to look for a new man. I wish!, no im going to go aerobics or swimming or maybe to the library to study for a few hours. He comes round on a Monday to have Charlie, as I was going to college doing a photogrpahy course but it was too much so have dropped out, didnt tell him for a whil until he sussed it out!!!

7777777 · 30/01/2006 17:28

bloody hell wot a p* off that is cyan, praps your little one will earn you a packet to pay for the repairs!

alliep30 · 30/01/2006 17:31

have a girl cyan, i've got loads of lovely clothes. just sold 5yrs worth of boys clothes too! how exciting for your friend. some scum bag taxi driver knocked my wing mirror off, then chuffed off. that cost me bloody fortune as it was electric....

sonya.. my mum did that with my son.. he would sniffle slightly and she would get him up cos he was "wide awake!" it's fine going to work but picking up a grumpy tired little person is not, hence the grave yard shift for me!

7's. hope the injury gets better soon! lisa always calls last thing x

we need to start a new topic somewhere as i'm all modelled out and were clogging it up woth our trivia!!!!!

alliep30 · 30/01/2006 17:32

cyan, what haven't you done a course in you crazy lady!

cyan · 30/01/2006 17:39

i know im crazy and sometimes i think i take on far too much but thats just me i never know how to relax!!!
ive got a golf and the windows are electric, as the car is on finance i think im under obligation to get it sorted out at teh dealers, which means they will charge me an rma and a leg. great fun.
yes new thread might not be a bad thing you know,

cyan · 30/01/2006 17:41

god wish id known you were selling clothes! would have bought them off you! i buy alot of ds stuff off ebay git him so lovely trousers the other day which were brand new and would have cost me £10.99 but they were only a fiver osh kosh ones too.

alliep30 · 30/01/2006 17:51

what a bargain. got some friends that sell ex chain store bits such as gap and osh kosh dead cheap. let me know what size u need and i'll keep u updated with what they have. I buy off ebay too. Had all brand new for my first but she gets any old tat! only joking. my nieces are 4 and 1 (only 19 days between my babe and my sis's) and we have lots of hand me downs as she buys them gorgeous clothes. the stuff i have left now is all aged 4-5. my husband has a golf, they're lovely but cost a bomb to repair.. what can we title new thread.. ?? we don't really discuss anything in particular... i've just been busted out here my dh...do i care???

cyan · 30/01/2006 17:53

just a quick posting for mums going to Urban Angels shoot. just asked them a really daft question about the t-shirt they have to wear. alysia said its fine for them to wear a top with a small logo or with a coloured trim, i know a cpl of people were unsure, think maybe tinkerbelle? anywyas hope thats cleared it up for a few of you x

7777777 · 30/01/2006 17:54

ive got a golf too, call the new thread, "we all own golfs and speak a load of ole shite" i gota bath ds i'l check in other subjects for the above title lata

alliep30 · 30/01/2006 17:56

7's you're a legend, and i'm a computer numpty...i'll try, if not cyan knows how don't you pet?

cyan · 30/01/2006 17:58

Yeah i punctured my tyre the other week and cost me a bomb as you have to have a decent one, not like when i had my old cars!!! vws are always bloody expensive but they dont lose their value as quick as other makes which is why i got one. was going to get a polo but the boot was too small for all the junk that i carry around with me!!! i like beefy cars would drive a lincoln navigator if i had that sort of money!!!!! let me win euro millions next week please!!! i have a friend who works for camelot and she was saying that this week is the last week that it will rollover!
ds takes a size 9-12 months at mo, so loking for anything upto age 2 clothes. I just like to buy things a bit an advance because i never know when im going to have any cash!!!!

cyan · 30/01/2006 18:00

Hi Yackerty yack.Hope you are well. Thanks for your message. DD is still with B and B. Still undecided whether to stay put or move.Munchkin did get 3 jobs in one week last month so her agency are obviously working hard to get work at the mo!

pebblemum · 30/01/2006 18:41

Hi, im new to all this and was just quickly scanning the thread when I saw a lot of people dont like Models Direct. Can someone tell me why?

I sent ds1's photos in to them about a fortnight ago and they phoned me today saying they are very interested in him. They are sending me some information within the next few days so if there is a good reason why I shouldnt sign with them I need to know A.S.A.P.

thanx

trace2 · 30/01/2006 18:47
