Hi to everyone else, hope you are all well! Gotta say this thread does keep me entertained, I do have to log on everyday just to have a look at how all is doing and whats new. Gotta say though I have mentioned in my postings ( I've only posted 3 in 3 months)the one a week or two ago, that it is ILLEGAL to charge for interviews, sooooooo many agencies do this, and hold loads of what they call OPEN days and charge, and do turn down lots of kids, its just money making. At the end of the day, most good agencies do NOT hold these open days, and you are invited along to meet them. If they are interested in your kids, then great, as your child WILL earn them money, that is their payment. So all please think seriously about these so called assessment fees, it also for advertisement as well.

Also I don't want to upset anyone here, so PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS PERSONALLY, TRACE2 why are you asking for pics of everyones kids, I've prob missed something here, and youve obvoiusly got a really good reason, but I've found no posting with the reasons why and people are posting you ( AGAIN PLEASE DO NOT TAKE IT PERSONALLY) to say they have posted their pics, and Im sure you WILL take great care with these, but it does worry me. I know alot of you have younger children, I have an 11 year old, she is NOT allowed in chat rooms, because of the obviuous riskd involved, she can be chatting to an 70 yr old pervert who's pretending to be a 12 year old girl!!!! Im kinda losing the plot, well anyway, maybe I am toooo cautious but in todays day and age, and we all think our kids are great, and I LOVE showing mine off to, but I kinda think you gotta be careful( again this is NOT personal, and you prob all might know each other anyway!)

TRACE2 this is not a personnal attack and to all who have e-mailed pics etc either, I just think, that in todays world ( its pretty shite) you gotta protect your kids thats why most agencies have passwords for under 3's that joe public can't view and others have no childrens images to view without vetting!

Think I better go now! p.s TRACE2. Tomy are fab to work for aren't they, my youngest has done 3 jobs for them!

ahhh thanks, her hair is quite mad, its short everywhere except her fringe, which i have to clip back as its so long!

LANISMUM. I Hope I don't upset you either, really nice everyone wants to share pics of there kids, but it does worry me, not you and trace2 personally but in general, how people are happy to send people they don't know, but have chatted to on the net, pics of their kids. Kinda think Im over protective but hey it our jobs, gonna go out and get bladdered tonight, have aggod weekend all!

its no different to the agencys that show kids pics online is it? and loads of people show their kids on member profiles on this site? id see your point if the kids had no clothes on but cant really see anything wrong with swapping pics?

izzyrubi- are you one of the mums going to urban angels? i noticed your dd has her ears pierced (or maybe its my dodgy eyes) if she has, will you leave them in or take them out when she has her assesment? my dd wears small studs and not sure if to leave them in or not?

I emailed them back with refence if they want to be a sole agent and pauline emailed me back saying the following
Hi Sonya,
Clients will not use children who are multi-listed and will be blacklisted - it is confusing for all concerned.
Children will not get more work if they are multi-listed as clients will phone all agents with their requirements.
Any agency that says it is okay to go with another agent are probably charging huge sums to take on your child then sitting back and hoping another agent will get your child work.
So we would only take on your child as sole agent.

Ive never heard ofm kids being blacklisted have any of you, or are any of you with more than one agencies and get work from both

Hi, YEP I do totally agree it what you are saying lanismum and izzyrubi, totally I do,but with the agencies its controlled thats all!If you get my meaning and no not drunk yet, though I wish!!!! I have afriend who's had a real bad experience thats all! Im sure everyone on here is 100% genuine, and also great fun to see other peoples babies especially when we all bang on about how great they are!As I said nothing personal, I just obviously missed all that! This thread is sooooooo long now!

i think manicma does have a valid point, you cant be too carefull, but like i said, my dd is already on the web, its just personal choice if you decide to swap pics.

SONYA219275. I have never heard of that! I know some agencies are happy for you to go to another agent, as they say they can not guarentee your kids work, and casting agents do not use all agencies. I do know that if your ageny requires sole rep, and you do work for another agent and they find out, they can demand some of the earnings and commission from the other agency, but can only do this if you sign sole rep! and anyway they prob wouldn't find out anyway! My kids are both with bizzykidz and MOT and get jobs from both.

SONYA291275 ( HOPE I GOT IT RIGHT THIS TIME!) CLIENTS DO NOT CALL ALL AGENTS WITH THEIR REQUIREMENTS WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH, YEP THEY PHONE A FEW OF AGENCIES THAT THEY LIKE TO USE FOR EXAMPLE TOYS R US MAY USE 7 OR 8 AGENCIES JUST TO GET DIFFERENT KIDS! ITS A LOAD OF RUBBISH! AM DEFO GOING!

thanks maicma for that its good to hear that although you are with 2 aganecies you get work from both. With refence to BM i had email back from them this morning saying server has been busy and a delay in receiveing pics
