i'd love that cyan!!! i'm such as lazy cow with stuff like that..never had a massage!!!! whereabouts is harrow near?? i'm usesless with where places are. my dad's from east ham, mum's from dagenham, and i've got friend's in stoke newington and hampstead so i know how to get there!!!
I'll check that with Lisa on monday.how am i going to get my baby to sit still in a photo booth for pics??? i'm still laughing at the turd reference... it just made my night.

Cyan, i was told there was 10 kids in my DD height range,i suppose the only way of knowing for sure is to see the book at the agency as they dont let parents view the web site.Congrats on exams by the way...baby massage is easy on the hands but i was mortified first time i taught a roomful of parents, i hate being watched,i prefer just doing treatments.
Marymay my dd with U/A is 11 in may.Thanks i think i will just email and see if she will send more pics.

hiya allie, with AK i sent the pic by email on 21st jan had reply 23rd by lisa asking me too ring her coz she was interested in ds.

i phoned her 24th and she confirmed no charge for under 2's. an email followed our chat which said as soon as i sent ds docs in his details could be forwarded to clients. it was a lovely personal email, saying she'd try to give me as much notice as poss for auditions and occasionaly but rarely clients choose kids just from the photo for a job with no audition.

she phoned that evening and said that ds had his first job as a client had liked his photo.

im presuming hes in a book then or be on the website when its opens, she hasnt asked me for any money. she said the pics i emailed were fine for the site and to update them every 4-6 weeks.

i just hope when she calls monday, the job is still on for the following monday!

p.s not missing big bruv, nice litte film on bb2 at 9.10 tonight, im frantically rocking ds in pram to get to sleep so i can watch in peace!

hi cyan/izzy, I personally would be very surprised if IK were not genuine as i suggested them to friends who were turned down as was a friend of 'tinkerbelles', surely if they were a scam they would be accepting everyone!!...besides, i would happily pay them £100 for the photos...i think they are stunning.

Izzy...do you have to go back to the US for your photoshoot???

yackerty think youre right, im prob just being a bit dubious will let you know what we decide. but like you say a good thing that they are turning peeps down as shows thye arent scamming like models direct!

hi guys, I am new to this thread but hoping you can help , i need some advice. people keep coming up to me and saying dd and ds should be models.ds is 6 months with blue eyes and red(not ginge!) hair and dd is 2, 1 metre tall with straight dark red hair and huge dark brown eyes, very pale skin; both very delicate features and huge grins and people always comment on how attractive and unusual they are etc.They love having photos taken and look great in them. BUT we live in Plymouth, Devon. I sthe situation hopeless? We can't find any local agencies that take kids on but I would like to do if if we could to help them save for their futures- we aren't well off and both of us work.Any advise as to agencies we could try that might do castings locally? We could travel for shoots if necessary but London is prob the furthest at 250 miles.. Glad of any tips/suggestions.

that's a tough one lucybee. i like about 70 miles from central london and that can be a pain... how about flying... iknow friends that get cheap flights from cambridge to devon...? sorry if that doesn't help or sounds nuts.. i wouldn't want a 4hr car journey with either a 6mth or 2 yr old

hi totallyfloaty.we received our password this morning also.they have put two different pictures on the site.they sent me three they havent put the really smiley one on.it is a shame you can only see your child it would be nice to see if anyone looks like your own child.

I was just wondering at the UA assesment thingy what happens? Do they take many pics? And if they accept you do they use the pics they take or do you have to return for more?

Hi Tink,they take approx 12 pics and those are the ones they use to promote your LO.

I actually think for security purposes its a good idea that you can't view other children, would be very wary of other websites where all your childs details are there for all and sundry to see.

77777's: hope you have thawed out now.....we also had a v bad night with DS last night so you are not alone!!!! further to an earlier question I think this is pretty standard but £50 an hour with a minimum booking of 2 hours (less commission) - but confirm with LISA what the money will be as I know they negotiate different rates with different clients...plus their is different usage fees etc.... fingers crossed you get confirmed tomorrow!!

LUCYHONEY: Hope I don't sound too negative but I would be surprised if any of the london agencys would consider you as most of them like you to be within the M25 area...mainly because jobs and castings are at real short notice.
There is MODELS PLUS in Bournemouth 01202 393193 if that is near you (not to good on me geography!) you could give them a try - but your children do sound beautiful so GOOD LUCK!!
