The One-Child Tea Room, version 21... the Hawaiian Islands. Cocktails, anyone?

Welcome everyone to the 21st (!!!) One-Child Tea Room. Not to be misleading, we do have inhabitants who have or are planning more than one! Everyone is welcome.

The usual rules apply: no fisticuffs, or you will be escorted out by Mellors the Hunky Gardener. Depending on your preference, he looks variously like Daniel Craig, George Clooney, David Boreanaz, Gerard Depardieu... I have a feeling we all see something different but whatever we see makes us drool! And considering that this Tea Room is in the Hawaiian Islands, whoever we see is definitely shirtless! :o

Cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, yummy food that is entirely without fattening effects, and lewd rolls abound in the Tea Room. There is also a full cappucino bar.

This is essentially A Tea Room of Requirement, and we're currently on the lovely sandy beaches of Maui, with beach huts, lounge chairs, cabanas, mango and papaya trees, and of course, lots of coffee directly from Kona.

Pop on in and stay a while. We may all seem a bit mad eccentric but we're very friendly!

Hello to Norfolk and Purple ... still pondering LVET ... have had the nicest day for ages and the chickens have laid their first egg of the spring ... I was brought up never to do the washing up in the evening - spoils a good meal, according to my mother.

I've had a mostly good day. First gardening session of the year (hooray) clearing up some of the damage done by the frost (sob).

What is it with MrScout and bad television? I admit I like cheese, but I admit it's cheese. This is just bad....

Scout she's coming here on her way to a three week safari in Africa! They had to travel through London anyway, so she's coming a week before she is set to arrive in Botswana and detouring to Belfast.

Much easier for her and Step Dad to travel. They don't have a 19 month old!

Have you made the trip with LCT, Tee? BabyScout has gone over three times in 2010 (he was born the end of October 2009). It was a very unusual year -- we usually go once a year, for Thanksgiving. We might have another two-trip year again this year.

Has anyone seen it? We watched it last week and no one else in the house wants to watch it (currently at InLawShire AGAIN due to MrScout's meetings in Ye Ol Royal Town tomorrow) but he kept saying "But Zen is on." ACK!

Scout we were in California last Christmas (2009) when LCT was 6 months. He was a dream baby on the flight both ways. Now that he walks, I dread the idea of flying long haul with him!

There are lots of fleurs here, hibiscus and lei flowers, and birds of paradise, and poinsettias, which looked terribly out of place to me until I looked them up and they come from here, oops :o
