Welcome everyone to the 21st (!!!) One-Child Tea Room. Not to be misleading, we do have inhabitants who have or are planning more than one! Everyone is welcome.

The usual rules apply: no fisticuffs, or you will be escorted out by Mellors the Hunky Gardener. Depending on your preference, he looks variously like Daniel Craig, George Clooney, David Boreanaz, Gerard Depardieu... I have a feeling we all see something different but whatever we see makes us drool! And considering that this Tea Room is in the Hawaiian Islands, whoever we see is definitely shirtless! :o

Cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, yummy food that is entirely without fattening effects, and lewd rolls abound in the Tea Room. There is also a full cappucino bar.

This is essentially A Tea Room of Requirement, and we're currently on the lovely sandy beaches of Maui, with beach huts, lounge chairs, cabanas, mango and papaya trees, and of course, lots of coffee directly from Kona.

Pop on in and stay a while. We may all seem a bit mad eccentric but we're very friendly!

Ooo, hot buttered muffins sounds delightful with some hot choc as well. A level exams seems very odd - part modules, part re-sits due to school messing up timetable last time, part exams in summer.

Had a fabulous BabyScout-free shop in town. Got him a couple of goodies for the summer (tea set and gardening set spring to mind) and some more Duplo to put away for later (maybe Guide camp or birthday). Also got lots and lots of various (size, color, texture) pompoms for a pompom table (think sand or water table but with less mess).

Had a lovely morning in the garden with Wriggle making fairy houses out of leaves and rejecting all my contribtions .

Things still a bit tricky here - AP is Not Right and very very worried. Blood tests booked for 20th. Hoping I can get her to acupuncturist tomorrow to try for another vewpoint, but don't know if she will still be willing by then. GP keeps mentioning dementia but AP has nursed in geriatrics and says its not that. Let's hope not.

However, heating oil comes on Wednesday.

We finally arrived at our hotel/condo at 12:30 am and [ugh]... loooooooong flight with squirmy-wormy JB, who fell asleep in the last 30 mins of it . Arrived 8:45 pm local time which was 10:45 pm according to our body clocks. Then car rental took about an hour, after which we decided we may as well wait for my patents who were due to arrive 1.5 hours after us. They arrived safely as well and then we drove to our hotel. Collapsed in bed around 1 am. Wake-up call by JB around 7 am... I feel there is an afternoon nap in my future. But... in case I sound like a complaining so-and-so... I fell asleep to the sound of the ocean, which is RIGHT THERE by our window (we overlook the pool and ten feet away, there's the beach!!!!! Whee!!!!)
When we arrived last night it was WARM, around 20 degrees, and this morning it's sunny... I think I'd like to live here!
Sorry, don't mean to make anyone jealous.

Hello everyone

I was OneTwoBuckleMyShoe in my former incarnation but had to completely reregister because my old account went very strange!

DD is in bed after destroying the living room (just cannot imagine having 2 with the same destructive streaks) and I am full of DH's excellent curry.

Now who was for Bolly, it is cooling very nicely and we can toast the flight to Hawiai.
