Ive heard loads of times over the years that he smelled good , I remember Susannah Hoffs saying he did too

I much preferred Nothing compares to You by Sinead O' Connor than his original version. His was v electronic and hers was so so heartfelt and her video was really beautiful. Still his words tho...

He's great on heartbreak. ( and also the sheer power of fucking...) 😈

There's also a lot of his songs that are about God, loneliness, politics, love, spirituality, he did everything really.

His lyrics should be studied as poetry in schools, I'd have paid more attention if we had! 😄

I'm sure people will bring doing PhD studies on his music sooner or later. If they haven't already. He was a modern day Mozart. It breaks my heart to think he'll never perform live again & that the feeling of being utterly alive & in the moment won't happen again in a musical capacity at least! For me, anyway. I can't think of anyone who comes close now?

I was having a look at 7, I wanted to know what it was about. Such interesting lyrics.

Kiss is a masterpiece in song writing.

I love Kiss, really love the video to it too, really makes me smile. His videos were so good too

I absolutely love Sinead O'Connor 's Nothing Compares 2 U and I had never heard Prince singing it, but now that I have I prefer his version, I know it's really different but I just love it!

I was having a clear out today and was so over the moon when I found the Lovesexy concert on video, had no recollection of owning it at all! Luckily I do still have a video so I've been watching it and he is so funny and playful with the audience! What a star!

Tennessee I really love the Kiss video too, he is so cheeky!

I did manage to see the Madonna tribute to Prince at the Billboard awards - has anyone else seen it? I wasn't overly impressed.
