Pink Parcel and bettybox have asked us to find Mumsnetters to test their monthly subscription boxes with their daughters. To take part, you’ll need to be a Mumsnetter who uses femcare products and/or have a daughter using femcare products.

Some information from Pink Parcel and bettybox below:

Pink Parcel: “Pink Parcel is the UK’s No1 period subscription box that unites periods and pampering to make your time of the month fuss-free and fabulous. Delivered to your door monthly on a day of your choosing each box contains over £40 of femcare and beauty products including a luxe curation of cult beauty brands, herbal teas and artisan chocolates. You can select your choice of tampons, pads or a mix of both from all your trusted femcare brands. This super convenient box ensures you’ll never run out of femcare products again.”

bettybox: “bettybox is the perfect pick me up for girls. As well as all their trusted femcare products, they can expect sweet treats, make-up, stationery and more all from brands specially selected for teens. Choose from all your favourite femcare brands and receive your monthly box with treats worth up to £30 delivered for free directly to your door. You’ll never have to worry about running out of pads again!”

If selected to take part, you’ll need to give your feedback on a thread on Mumsnet as well as completing a short survey. All who complete the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Please click here to sign up.

Thanks and good luck!

Yes you should have clicked on the links in the email to fill in further details about sanpro preferences snow.

WingMirrorSpider · 04/03/2018 09:20

Inashizzle yes it is, surname C. That’s you I guess?

RubyLennoxExists · 04/03/2018 09:23

Sounds like they've really screwed up on the task of matching names and addresses, which isn't a great advert for the organisation. Especially as they think they exist to save women the embarrassment of purchasing the products in shops - and are now broadcasting the names of their customers to each other.
PinkBetty will you be notifying the ico of your data protection breach? Doesn't sound like your systems are very DP compliant presently?

Mindhunter · 04/03/2018 09:33

My dd got hers yesterday i found it chucked on the floor by our front door. Lukily it was still there as most things left outside get taken. She was over the moon with it but think that may be because she wasn't expecting anything.

She loves the makeup and skin care stuff that came with it. She doesnt like chocolate so mum got that and very nice it was too. She says she would order it again but oersonally i think its pretty expensive for what you get.

Now just waiting for mine.

dancemom · 04/03/2018 09:43

Dd and I both still waiting for ours ...

FoxTeaParty · 04/03/2018 11:08

Still not received either of the boxes. Doesn't sound very good with the names all being incorrect. Does that mean the selection of pads that was made was pointless? Considering you make specific choices for ypur preferences its abit of a waste of time if thats the case.

Candyperfumegirl · 04/03/2018 11:23

@Foxteaparty. Our box had the wrong name but contained the correct selection, so we still received what we ordered.

FoxTeaParty · 04/03/2018 11:31

@candyperfumegirl thats good to know, one of the previous posters said they had the wrong stuff so i thought maybe everyone would be the same.

NotAnotherNewUsername · 04/03/2018 11:54

Does that mean the selection of pads that was made was pointless?

My dd's pads were not the ones she ordered!!

I think the whole thing has been messed up - not a very good advertisement for something they were trying to get us to subscribe to.

As Ruby says - not exactly a discrete service, plastering your name around to all and sundry Confused

IllBeAtTheBarIfYouNeedMe · 04/03/2018 12:12

I received mine correctly addressed but dds was incorrectly named and the selection of sanitary products was not what we’d selected.

She was impressed with both boxes with a slight preference to her box. I didn’t mind the skincare stuff in mine. I’ll try it out for the proper review.

Didn’t fit through my letter box either. How unlucky were they to have selected the entire 6% for their testing? Hmm

chemenger · 04/03/2018 12:20

I will definitely be sending them contact details for my dds now I know they can't be trusted with personal information Hmm What a marketing triumph this has been!

MumInTheCity · 04/03/2018 12:28

DD recieved hers yesterday, also wrong name right address and also didn't fit through the letterbox. Still haven't recieved my one.

mogloveseggs · 04/03/2018 12:44

Ah so we are supposed to receive one each then? I’ve got mine but no sign of dds.

OutsideContextProblem · 04/03/2018 13:00

Yes I’m highly suspicious about the claim that their boxes fit through 94% of UK letterboxes.

aristocat · 04/03/2018 16:19

Was it delivered by Royal Mail or courier delivery?
Hoping it arrived tomorrow Smile

babster · 04/03/2018 20:02

I have mine and another Pink Parcel with wrong name (SW). Have emailed MNHQ to see what to do with it. Dds Bettybox hasn't come yet.

babster · 04/03/2018 20:17

OK, just read the thread and it's all a mix up, so the spare must be dds box (or as close as she'll get to one). They don't fit through our letterbox either!

androbbob · 04/03/2018 20:39

DD received her Bettybox yesterday and like others it had the wrong name but correct address. Initials were CMc!

What we cant determine is whether the pads we asked for are actually what we asked for or what the CMc person asked for - if you get my drift!

She was highly delighted with the 'Me' box and examined everything in great detail! Something I would consider for her as a 'cheering up' thing!

Oh and ours didn't fit in the letterbox, but we have a porch so was left in there!

Hope mine comes tomorrow!

EnconaHotSauce · 05/03/2018 09:51

My “dd’s” box has just arrived - initials SH.
I’ll let her open it after school and report back

2rainbows56 · 05/03/2018 11:24

Received the pink parcel this morning .It didnt fit through our letterbox either. Still haven't received box for daughter.

Nousernameforme · 05/03/2018 11:37

Nothing here yet. If it's addressed to the wrong person and you are not home to accept the parcel how do you go about retrieving it from the collection depot as you won't have id for the wrong name. It's a bit of a balls up

Minisoksmakehardwork · 05/03/2018 11:46

"DD's" Betty Box has just turned up, addressed to IC rather than her name. But otherwise, I'll forgive the postie leaving it in the porch as we have one of those wall post boxes and I think they are narrow compared to a door letter box.

My Pink Parcel was not there. Disappointing as we haven't had post since Wednesday.

PutYourBracesTogether · 05/03/2018 11:49

Received my Pink Parcel this morning. No way it would have fit through my letterbox.
No sign of DDs box yet.
I loved my coconut snack and the facial oil.
I couldn't justify the cost for myself but maybe as a treat for DD.

FoxTeaParty · 05/03/2018 12:27

Dds box just arrive. Didn't fit in the letterbox. The box is completely battered. Wrong name again, The initials LM and daughters are BC. The pads seem to be the ones I selected for her. One of the items in the "for me" box looks to of been swapped (the congested skin serum isnt here but there is a lip balm thats not on the leaflet) its a shame as the serum would of been great for her to try as she gets awful breakouts.

ASDismynormality · 05/03/2018 12:50

My post just arrived and still no boxes.
