Pink Parcel and bettybox have asked us to find Mumsnetters to test their monthly subscription boxes with their daughters. To take part, you’ll need to be a Mumsnetter who uses femcare products and/or have a daughter using femcare products.

Some information from Pink Parcel and bettybox below:

Pink Parcel: “Pink Parcel is the UK’s No1 period subscription box that unites periods and pampering to make your time of the month fuss-free and fabulous. Delivered to your door monthly on a day of your choosing each box contains over £40 of femcare and beauty products including a luxe curation of cult beauty brands, herbal teas and artisan chocolates. You can select your choice of tampons, pads or a mix of both from all your trusted femcare brands. This super convenient box ensures you’ll never run out of femcare products again.”

bettybox: “bettybox is the perfect pick me up for girls. As well as all their trusted femcare products, they can expect sweet treats, make-up, stationery and more all from brands specially selected for teens. Choose from all your favourite femcare brands and receive your monthly box with treats worth up to £30 delivered for free directly to your door. You’ll never have to worry about running out of pads again!”

If selected to take part, you’ll need to give your feedback on a thread on Mumsnet as well as completing a short survey. All who complete the required feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Please click here to sign up.

Thanks and good luck!

DD's here and wrong name, right address. Did not fit through our letter box either.
Mine is correct name and address.

StewPots · 03/03/2018 13:46

Haven't received ours yet :(

LastGirlOnTheLeft · 03/03/2018 13:49

My DD got hers this morning - like everyone else it had the wrong name (RS) but right address. The box was also open but all the items were there!!👍

NotAnotherNewUsername · 03/03/2018 13:54

Well we received 3!! 2 right name and address, the other right address wrong name! Initials CH. What shall I do with it???
My dd thought her teen one had a nice selection of things and she was quite pleased with it all.
The pink parcel one was not so good where's the bloody chocolate?
I don't think I would buy one every month, sorry.

HarryStylesismycrack · 03/03/2018 13:57

On looking I definitely prefer the ‘treats’ of the bettybox.

TopBitchoftheWitches · 03/03/2018 13:58

Dd quite happy with her box, except for the huge maternity type pads, she said the makers do not understand 14 yr old girls.

I was very disappointed to find my international women's day box was called the 'pink box' Hmm
Also not impressed with scented pads enclosed.
Everyone on MN dislikes these and the issues they cause.

I did like the bits for me though, thank you.

imnottoofussed · 03/03/2018 14:06

Mine arrived yesterday and dd's today (like everyone else wrong name on dd's parcel). I like them but wouldn't pay for it. I usually only spend about £2 on pads each month so couldn't justify the extra £10 for a subscription.

wendyonthefarm · 03/03/2018 14:08

DD received her box this morning, postman knocked as didn't fit through letter box, same as lots of you it had right address wrong name. I haven't received mine yet.

Spockster · 03/03/2018 14:09

Our Bettybox arrived today. Timing was perfect! Postman rang the bell, I don't think it would have gone through the letterbox. DD was pleased with the bits and bobs, especially the skincare stuff, but she's not in to makeup. The pads were ideal, and there will be plenty. Chocolate treats are cute, my 22 year old says she wants one when per periods start! I might consider buying for a young teen to brighten up period time. Still waiting for mine!

Spockster · 03/03/2018 14:10

Oh and also right address, wrong surname. Confused DH no end, but I knew what it was straight away Grin

Ollivander84 · 03/03/2018 14:16

Just to add, I'm already signed up and have been for some time
You can pick pad and tampon absorbency, or go for mixed
The liners are scented, but my body form night pads aren't. And I get Kotex tampons as they're fantastic and I can't find them anywhere else

Slitherout · 03/03/2018 14:20

Haven't received either of ours but post hasn't restarted yet due to the weather so maybe Monday Sad

inashizzle · 03/03/2018 15:46

Anyone received a bettybox with the initials O.H ? Dd hasn't received hers.

Both eldest daughter and I would subscribe to Pink Parcel;

The Jelly Pong Pong was the biggest success and worth the value of the subscription; they've delivered me the perfect sassy lip crayon that precisely glides on in a sweep - smells very good, like a treat! For those who found it too bright, blot several times for a more subdued tone. I'll be buying that product in a more neutral tone again.

The oil smelt beautiful, an added once in a while treat. Same applies to the lip plump.

A tea sachet, a bit zzzz, coconut flakes sample and caffeine scrub, I appreciate they're sample sizes but even at that, all too meagre . If it were me, I'd've put 3 sachets of each in boxesGrin

Plenty of good quality pads, all organised in relevant labelled night/day boxes ; some already in the really cute take along bag. I had selected non applicator tampons but received applicator. I'd definitely need more tampons than supplied (perhaps Pink Parcel need to be thorough on that one as it's major part of the purchase)

We would see it as an affordable little luxury. I'd select the lippy, oil, lip plumper and sanitary products at £30ish so worth getting.

DD received hers today. Again wrong name (JB). She’s overjoyed. She’s been really hormonal & I think this gave her a proper boost. Choctaw disappeared very quickly, the skin care was well received especially a spot serum as her face is doing the hormonal spot thing. She was pleased with the selection of pads & tampons & the little bag. I thought it was nicely presented & well thought out.
I’m yet to receive anything, but never mind Wink

PointlessUsername · 03/03/2018 18:31

Both Arrived today DD's in the wrong name (AY) so the pads aren't correct for her flow.

Liking the extras in the pink parcel tho.

PointlessUsername · 03/03/2018 18:33

Quick question where is the feedback done?, just on this thread?.

AuntLydia · 03/03/2018 18:36

Still nothing here. I've just pm-ed somebody in case one of the wrong names mentioned above is ours.

Candyperfumegirl · 03/03/2018 19:43

Betty box arrived today (wrong name correct address). Postie knocked with it instead of posting it through the letter box.

DD absolutely loved it! Funky fun box, that wasn't overly girlie but very bright & age appropriate.

Contents inside was beautifully presented. Loved the way the pads had been sorted into different boxes. We got the bodyform pads we asked for (these are are usuals) along with some night time pads and a couple of liners. Plenty for my daughter for her time of the month.

Loved the free samples of Betty Boxes new organic pads made from cotton & bamboo which are biodegradable. Not yet given these a go, but interested to see how she gets on with them.

Treats were lovely & age appropriate. nice chocs which my daughter said were delish, a moisturiser from a fab brand that I use myself , a face mask & another cream. Lovely booklets too.

This box is perfect for my autistic teen. Can't wait to receive mine! Fingers crossed it will arrive on Monday.

Nothing here yet for me or DD, fingers crossed for Monday! Having read your comments I'm looking forward to receiving them

aristocat · 03/03/2018 21:39

Nothing arrived for either DD or myself yet. After reading other comments I can't wait to get them. Smile

inashizzle · 03/03/2018 22:26

WingMirrorSpider , is it a four letter Spanish name? Smile

chezbot · 04/03/2018 00:31

Ours arrived this morning. Mine correctly adressed, DDs (IS) arrived addressed to a JM.
DD thrilled with 'aesthetic' of Betty box and contents. Brilliant selection of pads and tampons, gorgeously packaged. Nip and fab teen skin stuff a huge hit in particular and Monty Bojangles truffles a lovely touch. DD tells me the Betty bus visited her school recently.
"They had a slide and everything..."
Very likely to subscribe for DD.

As for the Pink Parcel.

Great selection of pads, helpfully organised, lovely coconut snacks and whittards tea (v much in the treat dept in my house)

How amazing is that Jelly pong pong matt lip crayon? The 1st red I've encountered in years that looked and felt great, no wax crayon dragging across the lips sensation here.

Would sub to Pink parcel also but Bettybox is a definite asap.
So chuffed to try these, thanks
