It's not often we get Hollywood glamour gracing Mumsnet Towers but we're rolling the red carpet out on Monday lunchtime, 5 March, when we're joined by Goldie Hawn.

Her legendary Hollywood roles include Private Benjamin, The First Wives Club and Death Becomes Her. Her performance in the 1969 film, Cactus Flower, won her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

Goldie is visiting the UK to promote her book, 10 Mindful Minutes, and the launch of The Hawn Foundation in the UK.

The foundation has developed the MindUP programme to help children reach their full potential and aims to teach children how their minds work and how their thoughts and feelings affect their behaviour. The programme has been implemented in schools in the United States, Canada, Australia and, more recently, the UK.

Chat to Goldie live from 1-2pm on Monday 5 March, or post your question in advance here.

Thanks

I bet Stacey Solomon would come on this week, old Max has her everywhere damage limitation interviews galore!

AlfalfaMum · 05/03/2012 14:40

Okay Goldie you didn't answer my question, but you replied so thoughtfully to Trinity, I heart you anyway :)

noddyholder · 05/03/2012 14:44

Thanks goldie I cannot believe your colour is natural Grin no wonder you are so happy!

Looksgoodingravy · 05/03/2012 14:49

Just ordered it, was showing as out of stock earlier but it appears to be in.

Looksgoodingravy · 05/03/2012 14:51

Thanks BigGirl, feels quite surreal.

BigGirlInASmallWorld · 05/03/2012 14:56

I've just read your question Looksgood. It was very good. Just the fact she was here felt surreal for me but to be answered by her Grin, i hope you save the evidence for future reference, if possible :)

To think she was on Graham Norton on Friday and i cannot believe she is 66! She looks fab and time flies soo quickly, thats sad part. She is same age as my Mother.

Looksgoodingravy · 05/03/2012 15:02

Thanks BigGirl - I've always liked her and saw her on Graham Norton too, she's looks amazing. I was trying desperately to think of a question, going to have to try and save it somewhere for future reference Grin

ClarityR · 05/03/2012 15:14

I missed the discussion because I was at a funeral but thank you to everyone for such great questions. What an interesting read!

DaftMaul · 05/03/2012 15:22

Goldie's reply to Trinity bought a tear to my eye. I agree, it was lovely.

NaughtyMrChicken · 05/03/2012 15:27

Maybe she'll contact me privately

[deluded]

Looksgoodingravy · 05/03/2012 15:45

She was lovely to Trinity.

Honeydragon · 05/03/2012 15:46

I welled a bit too.

BelleEnd · 05/03/2012 16:13

I'm disappointed she didn't answer my question about her being a part of the Hollywood anti-ageing machine and how that affects women's self-esteem. But she did seem kind and knew her stuff about the project she's running.

JenniferMumsnet · 05/03/2012 16:21

Hi
Just coming back down to earth - got very very starstruck, she was so lovely
anyway in response the Q's about the egg sandwich it was from M&S (only the best for Goldie)
Wasn't sure if Hollywood stars actually eat so went with the mini roll platter plus lots of fruit.

LaVitaBellissima · 05/03/2012 16:28

Grin at M&S sandwiches!

SophieNeveu · 05/03/2012 16:29

Jennifer, is she as lovely in rl? Did she look the same as on Graham Norton?

noddyholder · 05/03/2012 16:31

She looked stunning on GN

JenniferMumsnet · 05/03/2012 16:52

She seemed incredibly genuine and very passionate about making a difference with the MindUp programme
And close up - absolutely gorgeous, if I look half as good as her when I'm older....
(I too loved her comment to Trinity.)

KatieScarlett2833 · 05/03/2012 16:58

I missed this and am making Shock face.

It is so rare to admire someone and find out that they are even better than you thought they were.

Goldie, you're a good 'un.
