@sparepantsandtoothbrush her DB had the keys and could have let him out, she could let the forestry commission tow the car outside like they suggested, she could have put up no parking signs (seemingly this has happened before)

There are signs up 🙄 He was also told not to park there as she needed to lock the gate. Again, why should she work around him when he's been such an entitled twat and has not once apologised for his behaviour. The point is she told him she wouldn't be in at 5 and he turned up anyway. She told him he could come at 7.30 and chose not to.
@BlueEyesWhiteDragon when you get a chance, do let us know what happened with the horse owner who wanted to continue to visit their horse after you bought it. Pretty please! Grin
That was you?! I remember that thread!

AtillatheHun · 03/08/2021 11:04

Omg! It’s the former horse owner poster! She has given me so much already in teaching alternative grazing methods! Hurrah for OP.

dapsnotplimsolls · 03/08/2021 11:04

@diddl

I also wonder why he couldn't have picked it up & parked at X's when he went to visit him?
Presumably there were kebabs before Kerplunk at Kevin Keegan's so he had to be there at 7 ...
WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 03/08/2021 11:06

Can people stop filling up the threads with shite. The OP will have to create thread 5 soon after all these non-updates!

Que sera, sera Grin

Amazing how the posters who find the thread boring/childish don't hide the threads instead they keep checking in!

They just remind me of the old joke about the elderly lady who calls the police around in a panic because the handsome, hunky young man in the house opposite walks around naked all the time and never closes his bedroom curtains. When the officer comes to check and assures her that she can only possibly see him from the waist up, she screams "Jump up on top of the chest of drawers with these binoculars!!!"

AmberIsACertainty · 03/08/2021 11:07

I have a theory that all the people saying thread's boring and OP's a troll and being illegal etc are all one person with multiple accounts, that person being the Jackass Parker, trying to intimidate OP into leaving the gate open so CF can slink in to collect with a spare key when nobody's looking. What an utter idiot.

Oh yes this please!!!

Maybe CF is a relation and was originally parking car to go & visit horse?????

dexterslockedintheshedagain · 03/08/2021 11:11

@Cavagirl I like your thinking!

Loubilou09 · 03/08/2021 11:12
@JellyBabiesFan Exactly. I can't believe people are actually so bored as to invest so much time in this.

It reminds me of children's tactics in primary schools and I cannot believe adults will willing act like this and then get glee from "mumsnet excitement".

It's really sad.
Yet here you are.....

Really sad yes Hmm

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 03/08/2021 11:12

thinks hes somthing special because he hangs round a footballer like a bed smell.

Fantastic typo! CF parker officially stinks like a Dutch oven Grin

fluffedup · 03/08/2021 11:14

@Iwantamarshmallowman

Not sure why people don't beleave this. You read stuff like this in the DM all the time and we all know atleast one compleat twat like this CF.

I used to work in a night club that attracted some local footballers they were generally awful people themselves but the absolute dirt bags that hung round them were somthing else. I once told a retired footballer that his mates were all wankers. He told me they weren't his mates he didnt really even know them, he came to our bar every sunday and these blokes just showed up and hung round him all night he didnt like them very much but they brought his drinks.

This guy is a misogynistic, entitled shitbag who thinks hes somthing special because he hangs round a footballer like a bed smell. He told op he wasn't free at 7.30. He's not going to put himself out for a stupid little woman like op who should have allowed him to park where the fuck he likes anyway.
Op i would put a banana in his exhaust, its shame you cant get into it to hide a kipper in the boot.

I wonder if the CF has a similar relationship with the former footballer (FF)?

CF gets introduced to FF at some party or other, decides they are now best mates, finds out where FF lives and the next weekend turns up at FF's house. Probably saying he will only be 5 minutes. FF is too polite to tell him to FO. And so it continues ...

Saturday morning, OP's dogs were barking aggressively.

I can't think of any MNers who would have tried to get past a bunch of unknown dogs behaving very aggressively to go knock on a door where nobody might be home anyway.

Batsy · 03/08/2021 11:18

i know someone who owns 2 tanks.. i could ask him to leave one somewhere for lols...

MumDad1958 · 03/08/2021 11:21

This thread should be in Mumsnet Classic but I don't know how to ask MN to put it in. What do you all think?

The dogs were inside when he returned the second time and he could have left a note with his phone number.
HoundofHades · 03/08/2021 11:22

I'm invested in this for two reasons:

[1] My ex is horrifically similar to the CF, to the point where I seriously thought it might have been him.
[2] I'm bed bound following a fall that fractured my dominant wrist and lengthy hospital stay as a result. So, yes; I'm bored and these threads are keeping me company until my teenage son surfaces mid-afternoon. I see no reason to be embarrassed by my hope that the OP gets to make CF realise his choice has consequences.

He’d have his phallic symbol on wheels days ago if he’d come at any one of the times OP offered.

I hope that truck sits there until it biodegrades. CPF is too stupid to push an Aldo cart.

CF sent his child over the fence to get something from the boot. Presumably he therefore was sure that no dogs able to access where car was. He could have walked up the lane to the yard shouting "hello!" to try to get someone's attention. He had the means to write a note, having left one already. He could have left an apology and his contact details on the car. Instead he just off and left his car for the night.
MaMelon · 03/08/2021 11:27

Just rejoining this and see the ‘OMG, why are you you all so invested - you’re all so childish’ posts have arrived from people who, for whatever reason, simply cannot bring themselves to just scroll past them. It’s now an official parking thread - no such thread on MN is complete without these posters. Love it! Grin

HoundofHades · 03/08/2021 11:28

Also, he wasn't so bothered by the dogs barking/potential aggressiveness, as he sent a child over the gate at least once on Saturday...

Onthebrink87 · 03/08/2021 11:29

Wondering if all the warriors bleating at op are arseholes who behave like the cf, or just a bunch of weak willed women who have a good track record of enabling that kind of behaviour from misogynistic men 🤔

They’re married to CPFs and this is a massive coping mechanism.
QueenStromba · 03/08/2021 11:31

Ooh, Ford Rangers have a "smart" battery charging system which is supposed to prolong battery life by keeping the battery only partially charged. There's a good chance that it's not going to start.

He could have moved it straight away, when the OP said she was locking the gates in five minutes. But he didn't.

All of this could have been prevented if he wasn't such a dick.

ShamelessCurtainTwitcher · 03/08/2021 11:36

I love how now OPs farm dogs are now being portrayed as frothing at the mouth junkyard pit bulls.
