TC is clearly suitably impressed by his fame

Any door or window in our house is a summons to TC. I think he views an open one as a statutory right of entry to our home.

He's just doing his job.

I can only tell you what I told my dh, repeatedly. I don’t think it’s the Bengals fault.

Cats have evolved to deliberately not evolve.

Think about it. Man's best friend: wears a collar, is taken for walks on leads, learns to do tricks on command, put to work in war zones, herding sheep, being charitable (seeing eye dog, etc).

Cats, on the other hand: come and go as they please, constantly change their minds about what they will and will not eat, sleep 35 hours a day, etc.

Great photos, Grumpy. I often think that the adventures of TC on a boat (with suitable omissions like peeing and hissing) would make a brilliant children's book. Defending the Grumpy house against TC's onslaughts aside, it sounds as if you are creating a very civilised work life balance.

This was my exact thought at 5am when Kloppy woke me up by licking my eyelids

Cats didn't need to evolve..they sez they were already there..as you can see by the attached photo...cat has trained his humans well...they had to drag all that equipment to the beach so cat could be comfy...cat is not pinned in, he's being protected from the seagulls and just needing a bit of shade
