To decorate my neighbour’s new ‘no parking outside my door’ signs with a bit of tinsel?

The sign glows in the dark. It is rather large and looks awful.

This is simply the best parking thread ever. I decree it be placed into classics so everyone knows the bar at which all future parking threads should be judged against!

Thank you so much for making me giggle like a small child on a grey and miserable morning. Xmas Grin

Maybe a note from Santa saying that he tried to deliver gifts, but the no parking sign caused a few issues for the sleigh and reindeer...

Do his "doors" open straight on to the road?
What is the problem with people parking there?

Do your windows overlooking this op?

Will you see him when he sees this?

Your neighbours will love it too!

I love AngelOfDeath's suggestion as well.

Can you send a letter to the neighbour from the DVLA saying their car doesn't appear to be taxed and they're going to get a fine.

Update- parking grinch neighbour had just come out and had a look at car, just stood staring at it for several minutes then went back inside. Must try harder tonight to spread Christmas spirit via parking sign.
On a positive note several other neighbours have been out to take pictures and laugh so Christmas spirit in general on the street is good Xmas Smile

For those still worrying about parking grinch’s motives- he is definitely not disabled, he had two perfectly good bays for his one car and parking outside his house does not cause an obstruction, he just doesn’t like it and has told me so.

Has he gone inside to get a miniature tow truck?

That’s hilarious, OP. I wonder if they haven’t cottened on and think it’s just a child’s toy. I’m waiting for the penny to drop.

You need to go out to laugh, point and take photos too, otherwise you’ll arouse suspicion!
