Think we need a bigger cat..... recommendations for a large family one?

Just that, really.

When it was just DD1, we had a 5 seater Toyota for me, and 5 seat Skoda for DH ( yes, we do love our flash autos!).

But with the DTs coming along, I think we need to raid savings for a bigger cat.... sigh! Recommendations?

Thought about a Tiger?

falaciousreasoning · 10/08/2018 14:38

Jaguar?

ImAGoofyGoober · 10/08/2018 14:38

Oh I was just coming to suggest a ragdoll or Maine coon but I don’t think they come with seats!

Cherubfish · 10/08/2018 14:38

Lion?

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 10/08/2018 14:38

A leopard? Maybe a cheetah? Neither are particularly family friendly mind you Wink

Seqkat · 10/08/2018 14:38

I hear that Scottish Folds can get quite big - plus they have those gorgeous faces.

AlbusPercival · 10/08/2018 14:39

This big enough?

How about a Lynx, they're about to be reintroduced to the UK apparently.

Mothers of large families who claim to common sense,
Will find a tiger well repay the trouble and expense.

Lol i have two small cats and they're hard work! Cant imagine having a large one with strength and increased ability to take me down at the top of the stairs.

dun1urkin · 10/08/2018 14:48

I don’t think pp have taken your request seriously, tigers...Hmm

You're not going to recover the thread op. Best start another Grin

OddS0ck · 10/08/2018 14:52

I was going to say Norwegian Forest. Some tomcats are pretty large cats, if you go for an adult rescue.

I don't know if kittens are like puppies and you can tell eventual size from how big their paws are?

HTH

NorbertTheDragon · 10/08/2018 14:52

Lions are much better, the kids can hold the mane while travelling. Grin

Or a Toyota Previa. Thats the best car I ever had.

My actual cat is half Maine Coon and is the biggest soppiest thing ever, so I'd recommend one of them also.

thegreatbeyond · 10/08/2018 14:53

Make sure the tiger behaves himself at the table, though. Repeated café visits can get pricey.

rockchickchickyrock · 10/08/2018 14:54

😂😂😂 this thread has made my day! (We have a Maine coon - I can highly recommend!)

Also I’m pregnant with DC3 and we have just changed to a Mercedes GLE. I think we will need to replace the seats we have for narrower ones (current DCs are in high back boosters) and put the baby seat in the middle with a belt (doesn’t have 3 isofix points) but if I’m on my own with the three will probably have the baby in the front with me.
