Think we need a bigger cat..... recommendations for a large family one?

Just that, really.

When it was just DD1, we had a 5 seater Toyota for me, and 5 seat Skoda for DH ( yes, we do love our flash autos!).

But with the DTs coming along, I think we need to raid savings for a bigger cat.... sigh! Recommendations?

I did used to have Sharan. It was very nice. Not as nice as a Previa, but still a good drive and 7 proper seats.

amusedbush · 10/08/2018 14:59

I genuinely opened this thinking it was going to be about a mouse problem Grin

We have the Jaguar f-pace, really nice, that way you get your car and cat :-D

BonfiresOfInsanity · 10/08/2018 15:05

Battle cat can carry two and has seats.

And what about the poor current cat? Are they just going to be abandoned? So cruel. Or are you going to take it along when you get your new cat and swap it for a bigger one. Either way it’s going to be very sad.

popocatepetals · 10/08/2018 15:06

Jaguar?

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 10/08/2018 15:07

Well Bonfires that's the twins sorted. Does he do extended rear facing?

Haha, I also came on to suggest a Maine Coon. They're definitely the largest of the friendly house cats. A tiger just wouldn't be the same.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 10/08/2018 15:10

Why not feed the current cat more? Win Win.

TheQueef · 10/08/2018 15:11

Excellent thread. Grin

Stephisaur · 10/08/2018 15:11

I am crying 😂

Thanks for the laugh OP!

No sensible advice as I drive a Mini, sorry!

RB68 · 10/08/2018 15:12

surprised no one mentioned a peugeot with its cat claw lights at the back....

problembottom · 10/08/2018 15:13

My British Shorthair is huge and great with kids.

goforkyourself · 10/08/2018 15:17

I recommend this bad boy, he is very economical and has low emissions.

If I were you I'd go with a tiger, they are lovely looking and I am sure would love cuddles.

As for a VW Sharan, I borrowed one recently from a friend and it was lovely to drive, plus lots of room.

Elephant14 · 10/08/2018 15:19

Does he do extended rear facing - Is that like reverse cowboy?

LongSummerDays · 10/08/2018 15:20

Spartacus, are you kidding?! Have you seen the price of tuna fuel? It can bloody well appreciate what it's got.

I am not going to find a car from this thread, am I.....

Best thread title ever.

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 10/08/2018 15:24

Fork low emissions sounds good after some of the nappies I've changed today.....

I have a Norwegian Forest Cat. He's big, but he couldn't carry twins.

TerfsUp · 10/08/2018 15:24

I recommend this bad boy, he is very economical and has low emissions.

I wish I could say the same for TerfCat. His emissions are high-octane.

LuluJakey1 · 10/08/2018 15:25

We've got a very large tabby tomcat who could easily accomodate several toddlers in one meal.

VelociraptorRex · 10/08/2018 15:25

Nope, but it's brightened up my afternoon no end Grin
(I've got a VW transporter and while I can fit the kitchen sink in it, it's the most uncomfortable bastard of a vehicle to go anywhere in)
