I slept with my best friend last night

and now I have no idea what to do

We haven't spoke to each other since last night as we've both been working today but I'm not sure if I should contact him first or should I wait for him to contact me?

I don't know what he thinks about it and whether he thinks it meant something or it was just a casual one night stand. I'm not even sure I know tbh

Should I mention this to him or just forget it ever happened and continue on as normal?

I did this and regretted it, but it took me a long time to figure out the guy was an enormous arsehole so in a roundabout way it was a good thing as it sort of brought all that to the forefront.

Years later a similar thing happened with another friend. We'd worked together for a while and were good friends. Several years and two DCs later....we seem to be doing okay with it!

Fingers crossed for you - part of me is hoping you're so engrossed in having a lovely night together that you can't post and part of me the selfish part is hoping you manage to slip away long enough to update
