We haven't spoke to each other since last night as we've both been working today but I'm not sure if I should contact him first or should I wait for him to contact me?

I don't know what he thinks about it and whether he thinks it meant something or it was just a casual one night stand. I'm not even sure I know tbh

Should I mention this to him or just forget it ever happened and continue on as normal?

My best friend at university was a guy who made no secret of the fact he thought we should go out. I said no, over and over again, because he was just too important to me to lose him for a short fling but somehow I kept kissing him and fancied him like mad. Anyway, I was right. It would have been stupid to lose our friendship over it.

Nineteen years later we have two DCs and just celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary and I adore him and we need a shortcut for hearts on this website.

To add to the 'I shagged my best friend stories', mine's a little different, but still very positive. I ended up in bed with my best friend about 15+ years ago, we dated briefly, broke up very amicably, returned to being best friends. Then had a few further encounters over the years, but we ultimately realised we're better off as friends. He is still my best friend 15+ years later. I love him dearly and there's still chemistry (we've been mistaken for a loved up couple more than once), but he's not husband material and we're far too alike for sanity.

And yes, he's become friends with my husband, and I've become friends with his girlfriend. We're all adults here
