I slept with my best friend last night

and now I have no idea what to do

We haven't spoke to each other since last night as we've both been working today but I'm not sure if I should contact him first or should I wait for him to contact me?

I don't know what he thinks about it and whether he thinks it meant something or it was just a casual one night stand. I'm not even sure I know tbh

Should I mention this to him or just forget it ever happened and continue on as normal?

I've been trying to get DH to pet the cat, but he says he's allergic .

getting rid of that tension is healthy.
Been there and done that and it was a really positive move.

We knew it sort of had to happen. (it was AMAZING)
however, we were both able to step back and look at it, realising that we were not meant for each other in that way (we did it again...you know, to be sure)

We are still best friends, both married (both partners are aware as well)
Would hate to attend camping holidays etc and still have that tension between us

It needs to be dealt with.
I slept with my best friend and it made us both realise we had feelings for each other. over the period of 12 years on and off we both didn't talk about it and continued to bat between lovers and friendship and ultimately ended in both of us getting hurt and loosing each other.
Although I'm happily married I miss him.
Don't loose him. Even if it was a "mistake" friendships mean so much more!

I wish I had the bottle to explain how I feel about a very good friend of mine to her face and see things progress like they did for you last night ! - I hope this works out for you I really do

We were friends first,he was the one who said he wanted to take me on a date I panicked but I'm so glad I went for it.

Very happily married and with 5DC now I'm so glad he had the guts when I didn't!
