To wonder how many different ways you can come up with to say YABU to this

Just always fascinated by how a post that only seems to have one possible answer ie YANBU can be turned on its head, mis-read, mis-interpreted, taken out of context etc in order that the OP can be told they ABU.

So, to this perfectly obvious YANBU example how many ways can different posters find a YABU angle?

"I was standing at the bus stop yesterday and was first in the queue for the bus. After waiting about twenty minutes the bus came along and was pretty full. The driver said 'one passenger only' and the person behind me pushed me to one side and got on. AIBU to think this was rude, inconsiderate and downright cheeky and to wish I'd said something at the time?"

Totally unreasonable to post it on here.
Much better to have unfriended her on Facebook. - after posting pictures of her getting on the bus on your wall.

OP, if you spend so much time "walking miles in other people's shoes" why couldn't you walk instead of getting the bus?

Why do you wear other people's shoes? You sound very selfish and grabby! I'd be pissed off if you wore my shoes because I bet you stink. Everyone knows that only smelly people take buses anyway!

lougle · 26/02/2013 14:42

We can still see you, you know Hmm

RobinSparkles · 26/02/2013 14:43

I have reported this thread for being offensive to pushers.

OP, for example, is a twat.

lougle · 26/02/2013 14:44

Ahem...RobinSparkles, I think you mean:

The OP is behaving in a manner that some might describe as 'being twattish'.

atthewelles · 26/02/2013 14:48

Fuck of lougle and leave me alooooone.

I've had loads and loads of PMs telling me I'm wonderful so there!

This is so typical of AIBU

OP: AIBU blah blah blah
One million, one hundred thousand, one thousand, one hundred and one posters: YABU
OP: But, but, but...I really A(N)BU
Everyone: YABU
OP: Oh do get lost.

Have many imaginary friends, then, OP??

chocoluvva · 26/02/2013 14:56

OP, are you a journo? I'm sick of journo's shamelessly mining the wealth of riches that is the MN community instead of getting out there in the real world and doing proper research. (Unlike you I didn't let the trials of daily life get the better of me going out and about into the real world when I plastered on a fake smile and headed off on my donkey to get my ears threaded earlier. My brand-new 4x4 was slightly scratched and I'd broken a nail, but I didn't turn round and go straight back home like you then whinge about it on this interminable thread.) I'm saying this for your own good - you need to grow a pair.

I always spot when 'posters' are really journos because I am an astute mother of three teenagers. Wait till yours are teenagers - boy, will you be in for a shock!

Also, sorry to be long-winded, normally I'm really concise, but has it never occurred to you that the person who shoved past you yesterday might have been deeply embarrassed by you staring at her hairy legs? She might not have been able to get out to aldi's for a razor for all you know.

lougle · 26/02/2013 14:58

I feel a bit dirty now Sad I spent time and energy on this thread, all for nothing, because the OP's a tabloid journo.

lurkedtoolong · 26/02/2013 15:01

This thread is typical of what's going wrong with MN recently. It used to be such a nice, supportive place but now it's full of selfish entitled people like the OP. It's a sign of how broken Britain is that no-one even cares enough to let someone get on the bus. You should be ashamed of yourself OP, the country is going to the fucking dogs and it's all your fault.

OverlyYappy · 26/02/2013 15:04

OP clearly has some passive aggressive issues going on imo

chocoluvva · 26/02/2013 15:05

I know. I let two people hitch a ride on the back of my donkey and neither of them has even written me a thankyou letter. It makes me feel quite stabby.

TheVermiciousKnid · 26/02/2013 15:06

You know (that's all of you!), your computer/laptop/tablet/phone/abacus does have an off switch. Use it.
