To wonder how many different ways you can come up with to say YABU to this

Just always fascinated by how a post that only seems to have one possible answer ie YANBU can be turned on its head, mis-read, mis-interpreted, taken out of context etc in order that the OP can be told they ABU.

So, to this perfectly obvious YANBU example how many ways can different posters find a YABU angle?

"I was standing at the bus stop yesterday and was first in the queue for the bus. After waiting about twenty minutes the bus came along and was pretty full. The driver said 'one passenger only' and the person behind me pushed me to one side and got on. AIBU to think this was rude, inconsiderate and downright cheeky and to wish I'd said something at the time?"

YABU you don't know anything about that other person. It could've been very,very important for her to have got that exact bus. Why couldn't you just wait for the next bus? I'd just have waited patiently for the next bus, this wouldn't have bothered me at all...have you thought about anger management classes OP?

YWBU to wait for as long as 20 minutes. Think how much closer to home you would have been, and how much fitter, had you set off walking!

YABU. Fortune favours the brave. Or, the bus driver probably had a squint and appeared to be talking to the person behind you who might have lacked the social skills to realise how a queue operates. Cut them some slack, walk a mile in their shoes etc.

Maybe she lived at the end of the bus route and her next bus would be in an hour. She was probably fed up with all the seats being taken up by people travelling a couple of stops (who could get on several different buses).

YABVVU for taking the bus in the first place. How very bourgeois. Why can't you fucking walk like the rest of us? Are we expected to pay for you when you become a burden on the NHS because of your obesity? Selfish and entitled.

Maybe she's a lone parent with no support who would have been (very) late to pick her DC from nursery if she'd hadn't jumped on the bus quick.

First in the queue you say but who started this queue of yours. If there were seats, then those people may have been at the bus stop before you started this queue of yours.

Why should you get first dibs on the bus when you weren't at the bus stop first???? Yabu.

I am now wondering if maybe she had a syndrome called 'skipping the queue syndrome' and I was being really mean and judgey to just assume she was skipping the queue simply because she pushed me out of the way and skipped the queue?

Perhaps she can't help skipping and is a product of the patriarchal society we live in?

I bet you had lots of shopping that would have taken too much space on the bus. Try cooking from scratch in future, you get less packaging and therefore fewer Iceland bags to carry home.
