i am vaguely intrigued by these as identified in teh times
"Discarded notes are rubbish to most people, but not for worldwide subscribers to Found, which reprints them. The magazine?s publisher, Davy Rothbart, gets bundles sent to his office in Michigan. Laura Kwerel, a radio producer in Washington, was ?overwhelmed? after reading one issue. ?I realise now,? she says, ?that there is more humanity in a discarded grocery list than in a thousand-page novel.? Some people need to get out more. "

We went to a Volvo dealership a couple of years ago to look at second hand ones (had just had 2nd baby & it seemed so right at the time...) anyway, when we turned over the stock price list the salesman had given us we saw his list of "things to do 2004", including (from memory);

Go to theatre
take family abroad on holiday
learn another language
build retaining wall next to shed
group sex
go out to restaurants more
find better job

Grin Wish I'd kept the whole thing now...!

Jura that would be hilarious if it weren't so unutterably sad!
It was "Look like Curly Watts" that got me...
