Oh look at them being proper grown up with a scratching post and everything. Adorable!

SecretNutellaFix · 16/05/2011 20:02

Pinot, what's your address? I am coming to get myself 2 kittensWinkGrin

they are extremely cute and will rule the dog quite easily. Do you think their eyes are changing colour at all?

Pinot · 16/05/2011 20:09

Grin Secret!! Not on your nelly Wink Their eyes are lightening up - Ginger is quite baby blue now, Meow is a bit darker. They still go all squwiff and squinty when they try to focus on very near objects - but Ginger was definitely watching the TV this afternoon - his head was following the action. B to the L to the ESS!

Bugger!Grin

They are so cute when they follow objects on a screen. My girl tries to see why she can't reach it- used to walk around the TV and then look puzzled.

5inthebed · 16/05/2011 20:18

Or lordy lordy. I can't breathe for the cuteness!

Adorable, just adorable.

midnightservant · 16/05/2011 22:14

And oh the fun when they first see themselves in a mirror...

TapselteerieO · 16/05/2011 23:47

Oh I luff catching up on this thread.

I had my ds's birthday party too this weekend Pinot, so haven't had a chance to get on here.

It makes me feel all warm seeing the kittens (just been looking at photos of my ds as a baby too, so I am feeling a little weepy seeing my baby growing up!)

Ginger's big tummy is brilliant, and I am glad to see they are using the scratching post instead of you.

Pinot · 17/05/2011 09:44

Happy Birthday to your little boy Tapsel!

They've grown so much! You should be so proud of yourself pinot Smile

OTheHugeManatee · 17/05/2011 11:29

at the new pics

You should be a very proud kitty momma, Pinot - they're gorgeous!

TheOriginalFAB · 17/05/2011 12:19

Lovely adorable photos.

Can I be an honourary auntie as my cat might leave us soon?

NotShortImFunSized · 17/05/2011 12:21
Shock

When did they get so big?! Absolutely gorgeous, you've done a very impressive job Pinot Grin

CestTout · 17/05/2011 13:24

Oh wow! Been away for a few days so just catching up. They are adorable! Also on way to collect them!!

Pinot · 17/05/2011 14:52

Hey lovely kitty Aunties, Ginger made us all very proud this afternoon as he did his first wee in the potty litter tray :) :) A big'un too! His ears went flat as he was concentrating Grin

Still no interest in actual kitten food though - warm milk is still the order of the day!

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 17/05/2011 17:29

I've been rationing myself on kitty photos, so as not to get toooo broody, but was tempted back just now - they are absolutely gorgeous, Pinot - you are a wonderful mama.

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 17/05/2011 17:29

Oh - and re: the potty training - Ginger is clearly G&T.

TheOriginalFAB · 17/05/2011 17:32

Definitely G&T!!

TheOriginalFAB · 17/05/2011 17:33

Did Mummy Cat ever come back?

Pinot · 17/05/2011 17:40

He is G&T Grin

I haven't seen Mummy Cat myself but lovely lady over the road said she was driving into our estate recently and thinks she saw her. I'm not too sure how accurate that is though, tbh, as a tortoiseshell is pretty common I think so still not sure in myself if she's around. We are a large housing estate and back onto another estate so she could be anywhere. She definitely hasn't been back in the garden as it's been such lovely weather the conservatory door has been permanently open and the dogs sunbathing in the garden and they haven't freaked out barking like the week she kept sitting on our fence (the week before she gave birth as it turned out). Wherever she is, I hope she's OK. She was very sweet with us, letting us stroke her and feed her ham from our hands, just not a good mummy, what with the biting/rejecting and all :(

Poor thing, my Blue was a fairly bad mother as well (although at least she hung around to be a bad mother I suppose) but she's the sweetest cat otherwise.

Those new pics are divine Grin I love the one of the two of them hanging off the scratching post [squee]

ExitPursuedByAKitten · 17/05/2011 21:07

Sorry to be thick - what's G&T? (Apart from the obvious of course)

ExitPursuedByAKitten · 17/05/2011 21:08

Oh - you mean gifted and talented Blush

Pinot · 18/05/2011 07:55

My theory is a Gifted and Talented baby will grow into an adult that enjoys a Gin and Tonic

Hey last night the kits were playing around and Ginger walks over to the litter tray, walks in and squats for a poo! I'm so proud! TMI perhaps but how clever !!
