They're certainly growing....Meow is now 250g (up from 225g) and Ginger is weighing in at 300g (up from 270g). Meows eyes have cleared now they're open (and from saline I expect) and Gingers hair loss is no worse so I'm leaving it for now and photographing it to see if it changes. My hunch is it's from excessive stroking and cuddling (whoops that'll be me then!)

I can't help it - he's very fluffy and foofy and loves his cuddles! [csmile]

Afternoon! Loving your new name change, but tbh, loving the new pics even more. Gawd, they are just ridiculously lovely.

TapselteerieO · 27/04/2011 12:37

Pinot, they sound so gorgeous, the image of Meow rolling in your hand and purring is so sweet, so glad they are both gaining weight too - all that lovely attention and care you are giving them is showing!!!

SummerRain · 27/04/2011 12:41

I just called the kids over to see the pics and as soon as they spotted them they shouted 'It's Meow and Ginger.... and they're awake!' Grin

NotShortImFunSized · 27/04/2011 12:49

Whyyyyy did you have to go and post those new pics?!!

Dp is going to blame you when I come home with a new addition [cwink]

You are doing an amazing job, you should be very proud of yourself. They are adorable.

Madsometimes · 27/04/2011 13:42

I'm so glad that Meow has gained some weight. They are lovely Smile.

You must be totally shattered, but the pictures show the fruits of your labour in a total squeee.

Ormirian · 27/04/2011 15:41

Wow! Haven't they changed? They look so much more alert.

Pinot · 27/04/2011 15:49

funsized are you getting a kitten? squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!! [cgrin]

ClaireDeLoon · 27/04/2011 15:51

They are just so gorgeous. Are you having to feed them several times through the night?

NotShortImFunSized · 27/04/2011 15:51

I am very, very tempted and it's all your fault
We already have 1 cat and a dog, but since getting our little mop dog, cat has been hiding upstairs. She needs someone to play with, surely it would be cruel not to get a kitten? [cwink]

Pinot · 27/04/2011 15:54

Hi Claire, they feed every 2 hours day and night Shock !! Ginger could go every 3 hours but Meow is still a bit small for that so she's still on 2 hours so I have to make Ginger the same otherwise I'd be constantly with a teeny bottle in my hand and need matchsticks for my eyes.

I was eyeing up the Proplus tablets today in Boots ... anyone know if it helps? I'm fine in myself I could just use a burst of energy for when the kiddywinks come home and need me.

No idea about the ProPlus but not surprised you need them. You're amazing for doing this. Fingers crossed they keep a good steady weight gain and you can get more sleep!

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 27/04/2011 15:56

Proplus is just caffeine, and if you take too much you get shaky and jittery (well, I do!); maybe just a strong coffee?

NotShortImFunSized · 27/04/2011 15:58

What you need is me someone to come make you coffee to keep you awake Wink so I can kitten cuddle

I can't stop looking at the pics, squeeeeeeeeeeeeee indeed!

Not too sure about the wisdom of selling kittens over the internet.

LaWeasel · 27/04/2011 16:12

...or you could check out your local cat rescue.

When we got our cat six months ago the rescue was stuffed with lovely friendly kittens who weren't wanted.

TheOriginalFAB · 27/04/2011 16:12

Pinot I don't know where in the country you are but I am offering my services in some way so you can sleep if it helps.

ClaireDeLoon · 27/04/2011 16:18

Just to clarify my post about selling kittens over the internet was addressed to the post that was deleted and was in no way aimed at Pinot!

Pinot · 27/04/2011 16:22

You're all lovely people!! [csmile] It's not for long, not like a newborn baby when they don't go through the night for 6 months (my kids were all bad sleepers) I'm hoping that after Meows weight gain yesterday she's nearly ready for a 3 hour stretch...or maybe I could do 2 hours in the day and eek it out to 3 hours at night. Ooh now theres a thought.

DH found my mobile phone in the fridge last night so think my dizzy blonde reputation is coming all too real!!

I've just taken pics of them having their feed so I'm just going to uplaod them x

upload I mean. Dope!

OP posts:
LaWeasel · 27/04/2011 16:24

as was mine.

However, broody for kittens people, please do check out rescues! It's kitten season, and they will have loads of birthing mums and tiny kittens whose owners don't want them!

Can't wait for pictures!

TheOriginalFAB · 27/04/2011 16:26

I fed my son 2 hourly until he was 6 months!!

TheOriginalFAB · 27/04/2011 16:29

I missed off [stupid woman emoticon].

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 27/04/2011 16:32

Love the new photos, especially Ginger looking indignant! Grin
