LeQueen,she is lovely,but her taste and mind differ considerably.I'm sure the following will say all I need to say about her idea of tasteful decor.We went to Burghley and she stopped in front of a stand selling coffee tables-those glass ones with a base comprising of dolphins/naked women/galloping horses. [tsk,it was Burghley,you'd think there would be some kind of vetting of tat being peddled,wouldn't you?]Anyway,she went into rhapsodies about how lovely she thought they were,and the one she liked the best had hippos as the base,and they protruded out of the top as if coming up for air.
I was watching her face very carefully,waiting for her to say that she was winding me up,but no,she genuinely loved it and lamented the fact that her sitting room was too small for it.
And if you ever wondered who on earth buys those 'comedy' fridge magnets or signs to put up in your kitchen,wonder no more.
