1. Treat myself to highlights.

1. Buy bags and bags of M&S choccy nuts!

What have you been up to Rubester? I have felt like Widow Twanky, where does it all come from? Where is everyone today? Kids only just quiet, the boys have been a nightmare today, really wound Harry up, he`s not been good the last couple of days, the chemo makes him feel nervy and irritable. Hopefully getting away on Mon for a few days will do us all good. Look out Somerset!

Good morning girls its not raining here!!!

Yep what a scorcher! Worked like a trojan all morning so we could go to my brothers for a bbq this afternoon, it was fine until my mother upset me! Harry turned up late as he wasnt feeling too good, he had put in a new summer jacket he treated hiself to and had on a panama hat as his hair has thinned and he has to be careful when hes on chemo. He walked into the garden and she actually burst out laughing. I said "whats so funny"? She lowered her voice and said "oh Anne what does he look like, that coats hanging off of him, and that hat looks to big, doesnt he look old and ill", and she was still wetting herself. I just got up and went inside as I could have smacked he one with one of your wet kippers Shabs! My brother knew and came in and said to just ignore her, she has never been known for her tact. But it hurt, he knows, I know he looks old and ill and tired, but he has been to hell and back so many times the last 18 months and never once complained. So I then drank far too much fizz, in fact almost 2 bottles, but I am sitting here back home pretending I am in control...............??????????? Off to Somerset in the morning so you will miss me................wont you? Back on Frid.

I have a busy day ahead. Tomorrow DP is up and away as usual, DD1 is off for two days half term, have the builders meeting mid morning, MIL and DP's cousin for dinner, some furniture moving to new house on Tuesday, curtains and furniture arriving tomorrow and Wednesday, potential renters coming, and have to fit in bits of cleaning new place as the dirt, the dirt, the dirt........need to keep the heid and try to stay calm. Not quite sure which way is up but I am putting one foot in front of the other and breathing out after I've breathed in and that is helping

I might just go and shave my legs. That always helps ground me
