I know there was no time and I feel all weighed down with the responsibility of it all, but here we are ladies, a new home...

saw your little hijack shabs! I'm still here, jsut mainly lurking on special needs board!

The dts have had their 4th birthday. Shay was sick all over himself during the Mickey Mouse Live Magic show.

I'm exhausted. ds1 seems to deterioating. Sometimes he can't even weight bear. Even if he is weight bearing he's runnign off in the wrong direction, falling, over, walking backwards or lickign lamposts.
He did get TWO swimming badges last week though! Was sooo proud of him, it really takes it out of him. He now thinks he is the best in the class. He hasn't noticed the rest are three years younger and did those certs aages ago.

I can't wait for friday, we're off to eurocamps, something I've never done before so a bit nervous, but can't wait to get away from it all for a while!

How is everyone else?

'Can somebody clean this fish sick up please?'

frumpygrumpylovesJamesMorrison · 01/04/2009 19:07

Sorry Miss, I had the builders in for a 3.5hour session...... And I have survived week one of three of the easter hols. Two to go........

Life is truly bonkers, I am running in all directions between craft workshops and swimming lessons and new house. Our new house project has lots of problems and I am at full stretch with it. No DP.

Shabs, is there no crossing? No bridge? No lollipop man? I would be exactly the same. You can teach about how to cross safely but you can't teach about drivers who do not drive safely. Well, you can, but its hard to predict....... not sure your best plan there. How do you feel about Danny crossing roads? Seriously, you managed to let him go, how? why? and why is it harder this time? I'm not being pedantic, I'm just trying to find you comfort xxx.

Trips, you are doing a fine job y'know. Just fine xxx. How are you getting on with the photos? Have you ever looked at SnapFish? If you can get your photos online, they can do things like produce a poster collage for you (which you could then put in a frame). Just wondered if it might be a way to display all your favourite Matthew photos....say from birth onward.

Ruby, do tell..........I am so up for seeing that dress!!!! Don't have a posh do planned atm but it might come and I can always dream! The last ball I went to wasn't terribly posh, not a traditional 'ball' with gowns. I wore cream, crepe evening trousers that were fitted over the arse and thigh and then flared, wore with heels and a red silk top that had the same bust/neckline as the dress Demi Moore wears in the 'sleep with me for a million' Robert Redford film. Had my hair and nails pretty and felt beautifully groomed. The girl I was sitting near said to me in a tone of voice I didn't care for ...... "you must admit, it is rather unusual to wear trousers to a ball". I just replied that I am rather unusual. Hell, there were men wearing skirts kilts there........ I am a 35yr old mother of three, I am not about to start playing life by the rules now

HM are you lurking????

Evening all!!

Frumpster - the road is the main thoroughfare to 3 High Schools and 4 Primary Schools so you can imagine the kind of traffic on it. Where he crossed there is a very narrow central reservation. To be honest I think that reservation is more dangerous!! We have made a pact that he crosses at the top of our road instead - it is easier to see the traffic there.

Danny went to High school a few months after Matts accident. He had to get the school bus there but wouldnt catch it because he was called (the N word) black person lover His best friends Dad was from St. Kitts and his three other friends were Asian. So then the ginger haired, pale skinned, freckled boy walked along with his four pals - kind of like a sitting target I must have been out of my mind with worry but I was on Planet Pinkfrog at the time and, quite simply, cant remember.

We will sort it out - I have to be strong - I have to stop falling apart. It is soooooooo hard.

Oooo, beautiful dress Rubes! I also think it would suit FG - why is that?

Shabby, I shudder at the thought of letting my boys walk anywhere on their own. We've not had to face it yet because DS1 is still only seven, but we were talking about it last night, and DH is just saying that they will never go anywhere on their own, ever.

Probably not the best approach really...

shabster · 01/04/2009 22:12

Do I remove, dye or just ignore the greys?

Or maybe make some kind of 'feature' with them

triplets · 02/04/2009 14:25

I wouldnt recommend Loving Care Shabs, but why dont you set the trend and call them "highlights"
