I know there was no time and I feel all weighed down with the responsibility of it all, but here we are ladies, a new home...

My friend, Chellester, has given me a mini ball pond thingy - its a nylon mesh affair that holds about a hundred brightly coloured balls. She used to have it in her back garden for her little boy but he has outgrown it. I have put it in the living room for Lew to play in it - trouble is it fills about half of the room LOL Lew and Tom have been sat in it this morning!

He has just looked at it like this and got the remote and turned on CBB's!!! Not impressed...meanwhile I am falling over the balls and cursing Chellester

hello everyone, just popping in for five mins....mad busy as Shabs said. We finally move out of the cottage tomorrow and back home, although its not really finished so it will be a nightmare, particularly as Dh will be moving back in with the kids as I am off to Berlin today!! Hooray, my long awaited girls trip, me and my German friend are off for 3 nights of beer and shopping (oh and she wants to do museums too but hey ho). I feel justified after DH went skiing twice already this year.

My MIL went away on Wednesday and isnt back until monday so she will manage to miss all the mayhem too, funny that.

Anyway I just wanted to put my two pennorth in on the grey pubes front. Ladies I found the first grey hair on my head aged 13. I have been having my hair dyed every six weeks since I was about 26. I am now 36 and definitely have a few of those dodgy hairs hanging around too Shabs. I just trim em off and hope noone notices...luckily my eyebrows are still dark brown but who knows how long for?

frumpygrumpylovesJamesMorrison · 03/04/2009 12:38

Ruby, you sound so like me. I love wine. I clean with a passion. Are we related? Need more therapy? Angelic? All of the above? That dress is a stunner!! I adore the colour! Same shade as the top I wore. But I don't have good legs. That dress needs good legs. I mainly wear trousers because I feel like a heifer when I show my legs. I also couldn't wear it because my small waist has turned into a bouncy castle. Its in the queue for attention. Just buy it. Keep it in the wardrobe and stroke it sometimes.

I'm still debating whether to go blonde again. I think I should. I still don't feel like me.

Shabs, I'd trim the pubes. Don't need to be porn-smooth just trimmed neat and you'll never notice the grey. We love you anyway, grey pubes or not. It can be "'our' little secret" PMSL!!

DD1 has a friend in and I'm being ousted from the pc

frumpygrumpylovesJamesMorrison · 03/04/2009 12:42

HM, hope you have a great time! Sounds fab!! Keep repeating that the house won't be normal until the Summer, keep looking long term, release it all until at least MIL has gone. Breathe in and out. Sometimes knowing/aiming for 'when' it will be better gives me peace when things are going tits up. Keep riding the surf xxx.

frumpygrumpylovesJamesMorrison · 03/04/2009 19:42

come away in girls, sip-on whilst I finish watching Madagascar with my aliens children and I'll join you when I can............

triplets · 03/04/2009 19:48

Several tio pepes later trips is feeling better, scan was a nightmare for mme who has a phobia for needles. I was called straight into the scanning room, no water, no dye injection, ha ha I thought. They put me on the machine, arms above my head, then fed me into the thing, breath in, hold then out. Oh that was easy I thought. Then she said "right we are just going to get a cannulla in which arm is best"? None I said, I might pass out. She tried the left arm in the elbow, veins collapsed, she tried the back of the left hand, vein popped! She then said she wasnt happy to do it, so called for a doctor! He came in, asked me a few questions, needle went into right arm and blood shot everywhere and he said "oh shit" He then apologized, told me not to look and did a lot of cleaning up! At last it was in and done, now I have the lovely enema on Mon then two weeks wait for the results! Oh girls, I am strrrrrrrrrrrrrrrressed! HMs weekend, I`ll meet you at Dover!

frumpygrumpylovesJamesMorrison · 03/04/2009 19:53

Goodmorning girls, goodmorning Mrs Hillman, are you having a lie in? Why is it I cant sleep past 5/6am these days? First day of the school hols and Im up with the birds, gonna be a long day. Wish all these tests were over, wish I knew they were ok, then I could try and get us away for a few days, anywhere would be nice. So has anyone got anything planned? I quite fancy going back to the Norfolk Broads, have the boat, it was good last year, except of course we came back to the urgent message about the result of H`s barium enema............oh ells bells, tell me it will all be ok, I feel such an idiot worrying like this at this stage, but its all a replay of this time last year. When I wake up this morning I just looked at the back of H and I could have cried, he is so thin, it breaks my heart. Girls this is not a good start to your day, I promise to cheer up later, of course I have the afternoon at my mothers to get through yet

shabster · 04/04/2009 08:29

Morning girls. Hiya Trips....I have lay in bed since about 6.30 wide awake!!! We sound very alike when it comes to needles! Hospital always ends up taking blood from the back of my hand which results in beautiful bruising

I reckon that you will be just fine. I think that your problems are caused by massive amounts of stress. I KNOW all will be well.

I had to have my smear test yesterday (grey pubes and all) the nurse really, really hurt me she said that if this smear test is clear they will probably stop re-calling me every year. That is scary because the last time I got cervical cancer problems was about 6 months after a smear test!! Told the nurse I am going to have one done every year even if I have to pay for it!

xxx

I'm here Momma. I haven't gone away. I complete my degree in May and so have a shedload of work to do. I need to write 4,000 words as an opening chapter to a book for my ECA (End of Course Assessment). Prior to that I have to submit (by yesterday...gulp!) a 1,000 word draft. I have bitten off more than I can chew with this assignment I think. I need to spend more time in front of the PC writing the blinking thing but am squeezing that in between DS1's GCSEs, DD1s social life not to mention one or two other things in my life lol!

So... what do you need Momma?
