I know there was no time and I feel all weighed down with the responsibility of it all, but here we are ladies, a new home...

FG - We went out for t=Indian last night. Thomas was stuffing it in with both fists so I think they are ok. Know what you mean by eating too late though.
We are going on a 'credit munch' from 1st April. Will not eat shite all day and vow to eat more fruit and veg. How can I be a role model for the dTs when i survive on hobnobs?

frumpygrumpy · 25/03/2009 23:08

I was doing very healthy well too! Heaps of smoothies, fruit, veg and walks to school as well as cross training.......DP always pulls me back from the edge. I think he's one of those feeders...........

frumpygrumpy · 25/03/2009 23:09

So the boys eat Indian? I like your style.

triplets · 26/03/2009 10:25

frumpygrumpy · 26/03/2009 10:40

I'd like a really soft squishy sponge with butter icing please Trips

estar · 26/03/2009 10:59

I like scones with cream and jam.

Or chocolate cake, milk not dark.

Or pavlova with strawberries or Maltesers like my mum makes.

Or sticky toffee pudding with ice cream.

Or any kind of cheesecake.

Coffee and walnut cake with coffee butter cream please. Or millionaires shortbread. Or coconut cake thingies with cherries in and those crunchy sugar blobs. But I'd be happy with victoria sponge with cream and raspberry jam (caster sugar on top not icing) and a cup of tea.
I promise I'll be good next week.

shabster · 26/03/2009 21:38

See what you started Trips?

shabster · 26/03/2009 22:27

Would love to be able to sing like this

triplets · 26/03/2009 22:37

Wow.........I should start a business! Have made mental notes of all your favs for when you come to the beach hut to celebrate H`s recovery! We will launch balloons over the channel to France! Got my second appt for the delightful barium enema on the 6th! So next week will be hosp for H to see onc on Thurs, nurse out on Frid to flush picc line, me ct scan on Frid, kids finish school for hols, and as yet I have no-one to pick them up as we will be at the hospital, then Mon me back to hospital for barium enema, then Tues H has blood test, then Thurs he has chemo, then Sat nurse comes to flush picc line...........sounding more like Casualty every day! Kids been out tonight, my niece phoned and said could she take them to the circus.............trouble was it cost me £22 and I am sooooooooo broke atm! Oh well!

shabster · 26/03/2009 22:40

cant wait for the day we celebrate H's health. Have felt very low this last few days and cant shake it!! No reasons....nothing wrong.....just down.

Pass me that kipper Trips while I slap my own face xx

triplets · 26/03/2009 23:14

Sorry Shabs...........been delving into the dpths of my freezer for the Arbroath Smokie thats been lurking there since 2007! Do you not think your 50s are a funny time? I keep thinking about it, since I was 50 have never really felt well, get frustrated with my life, as I shouldnt be doing what I am doing, seeing all my friends off on w/ends away, free to come and go. Get sooooooooo tired washing cooking, looking after everyone, feel ANGRY that our life is upside down.................again. No, my 50`s have not been great, makes me almost look forward to being 60 Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhh what to do? What we need is a good night out Shabs, one of these days, one of these days........

shabster · 26/03/2009 23:28

So true Trips....think that maybe our 50's would be very, very different if we didn't still have children at home. I get exhausted just getting Tom up, dressed and fed and Lew in his buggy to do the school run!! Thats pathetic!!

I really, really, really dont want to think about being in my 60's.......not when my mind is still 17.

triplets · 26/03/2009 23:35

Well maybe it wont be so bad Shabs, at least we can grow old disgracefully Just get scared at times at how quickly the time goes, sat thinking about Matthew, thinking he will be 30 this year, how can that be? I look at his photo and still cannot believe it all, dy think we will ever ever get to this stage of acceptance you read about? I still feel so frustrated that I cant make it all right again, its horrible isnt it? I do try so hard to be thankful for what I have and I am...............but, such a huge part of us is missing.

triplets · 26/03/2009 23:36
shabster · 26/03/2009 23:44

Oh my word - 30 this year? How did that happen my darling? Dan and Gareth are 28 after Christmas, my Matt is 25 in June and Tom 12 in July.....not sure where that time went.

I am at peace with Gareths passing but I still cant comprehend Matts accident....its too difficult...to revolting. Not sure when it will ever feel ok.

Thank God for our Matthews - they linked us together.

Night night darling. Kale Nits. Sagapo xxxx

triplets · 26/03/2009 23:50
