D'y ever wonder why we wash towels if we only use them after baths?

I know there was no time and I feel all weighed down with the responsibility of it all, but here we are ladies, a new home...

Oh my word - just got Toms school report in the post. It is wonderful. He has got a Gold award for ability and achievement and just fantastic marks. Im so proud of him - he has managed to be an individual amongst 2,200 pupils - well done Tom!

Yes Rubester - massive school - I reckon at least 75% of the parents couldn't give a flying wotsit about the kids and those kids dont care about school. Now we just have to support him and encourage him till he finishes there in 4 years Long may it last!

frumpygrumpy · 27/03/2009 14:22

Trips, I love the sound of your beach hut. That is me when I'm crinkly......an old, saggy lady, sitting in her beach hut, talking to herself, bliss

Shabs, you any brighter today? Its funny, I'm down today too. I swear we are twins. Just woke up that way. I have been pushing myself a little too hard though and combined with a really heavy period, I think its done me in. I look like a bag lady today and that doesn't help.

D'y ever wonder if you need to get out of your body?

frumpygrumpy · 27/03/2009 14:24

Great news about Tom's report. He is riding it and if he can just hang on then he will rise up out. Well done Tom!

anyone got a couple of matchsticks to keep my eyelids up then???

i cant believe how tired i am only done a few hrs today

shabster · 27/03/2009 22:04

I never thought I could love a child the way I love Lewis. He is a unique little lad - red hair and a temper to match!!!. He will be 10 months old early April but he has been trying to walk for the past two weeks. He goes all around with the furniture and then puts his back against the settee and stands by himself for at least a minute!! His Daddy (my DS1) walked at 10 months and I think this will be history repeating itself.

Dont tell anybody especially Lewis - but I love him with every part of me!!

shabster · 27/03/2009 22:06

I know that feeling of exhaustion Shazz. My darling DIL looks so tired. She is a nursery nurse and looks after a bunch of 2 year olds. Proper fantastic Mum who always doubts herself x

shaztwins1 · 27/03/2009 22:07

awwww but hes nana's 1st so he will always be special
i have a red head with a temper to match as well only hes 3 1/2 with attitude too little swine love that he is !!!

shabster · 27/03/2009 22:10

LOL at Grans first - Em and Dan dont want anymore and I think they will stick to it. If Tom becomes a Dad at the same age as Dan did I will be 69 when I get my second Grandchild PMSL - I will be on my zimmer frame pushing the buggy with one hand

shaztwins1 · 27/03/2009 22:15

lmao i can just see u with a zimmer my red head with attitude has just been awake has been sent swiftly back to bed

shabster · 27/03/2009 22:53

Sorry about that!! Tommy needed a very deep very warm bubble bath and a hair wash - he is growing his hair long wants it to be a bit surfer boy kind of look!!!

Then he had to be measured on the door frame!! He has grown half an inch in a month and is delighted. He is quite short towards his friends so was over the moon with so much growth!!

Im knackered now!!
