Hi all. It took me four hours to do the two hour journey home - the M6 was closed! Not so fun, but well worth it

Got home to usual hyperactivity, giddiness and mess, but.........

My wonderful, wonderful, amazing, DH had done soooooooo much work in the house - moved furniture around to the right rooms, taken loads of boxes into the loft, decluttered the junk room dining room - it was amazing! I was gobsmacked at how much work he had done (and kept quiet about the fact the DCs had been in front of the TV all weekend ). Last week I was feeling really depressed at the ever mounting piles of crap and chaos but now its all back in perspective and I'm ready to tackle it again!

Boy, is he gonna lucky tonight!

(If only HM hadn't stolen my PVC catsuit )

Thank you Shabs, great song that one. Many many moons ago there used to be a place in Deal called the Dive Bar, it was underground and when you opened the door it was black smog and if this was playing I always knew my eldest brother was in there, happy days, course I never actually went in myself

I just almost spit my apple juice all over the screen. I am blessed with a big hooter as well!!! Nikos takes size 15 shoes. I said to him 'You know what that means dont you Nikos?' [dirty old bird emoticon] He looked at me and seriously said 'Yes, I know what this means I have to buy very big socks'

Oh yes he is a pain in the butt! He keeps coming on local news up here campaigning to keep all the small Post Offices open....he cant help but mention Paul, all the time!!!

He used to come into our Pub in Stanmore, Middlesex with the rest of the Scaffold. When we served them they would say 'Thank you very much.....' well it was hard not to be sarcastic and not sing 'thank you very much for the Aintree iron, thank you very much....'

PS Estar am wearing the pvc catsuit as we speak - DH is verrrrrrryyy interested!!!

See you all tomorrow!!

shabster · 18/05/2008 22:29

I was born in Davyhulme hospital in Manchester!! I have lived many, many miles from home but always return

Just looked at the photo's...I still stand by what I said on the thread the other night. OJ will realise how, very, very lucky she is to be able to say 'Goodbye, I love you, I will see you soon.' Easy for me to say I do know that....but I would have loved to have been able to say that sentence to Gareth and Matthew. I hope I didn't offend her. I had to say it - it was driving me crazy.

shabster · 18/05/2008 22:30

Night HM - glad you had a good week-end - now be careful we dont want to be doing pregnancy tests over the next few weeks do we? Well, I dont!!! Night sweetheart, speak tomorrow.

shabster · 18/05/2008 22:32

No trips I was saying good night to Feedmenow - not you!!!! I love night time...especially when the house goes quiet and everybody is asleep.
