Hi Shabs..............take no notice of me.Nobody does in this house that for sure! Had a really horrible nights sleep, "Gladys" was gurgling and very smelly, I feel awful cos he cant help it and I am sooooooooo trying to get used to it, but find sleeping next to it horrible! Then my tinnitus was really ding donging, got up feeling dizzy, felt sick, felt pressure in myears, came down to Dh who had been up since 7am, to find him waiting for me to cok him a fry up!!! Honestly he is straight back to his old ways, in every way. I know its good that he has the strength, but he s def overdoing it, three weeks this Tues since surgery, back to drinking red wine etc. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo worried and scared what the consultant is going to say about the liver mets. But one thing is for sure, he isnt going to listen to me! So he goes off this morning to Homebase with my brother and I am left here with three bored kids. I feel fed up, because now its hard to think he has cancer, as he seems back to normal it lulls you into a false sense of normality. Perhaps I should just make the most of it while I can. Anyway thats my moan of the day.............sorry.

Trips - sounds a little like my house, except for our Gladys

I have talked out loud to myself all day...not even our hamster could give a damn!!

shabster · 11/05/2008 21:50

I sang this today whilst ironing - guess what - nobody listened

triplets · 11/05/2008 21:57

shabster · 11/05/2008 22:02

They're playing our song!!

shabster · 11/05/2008 22:08

DH won over £200 today!! At the beginning of the football season he had a bet on which team would win each of the three divisions. He had to wait till today for Manchester United [cant stand the reds..Im a city fan emoticon] to win the Premiership.

He was so chuffed with himself and I was working out how many days that would last in Faliraki

shabster · 11/05/2008 22:18

When the final whistle went at Man Utd...my mind was thinking like this

triplets · 11/05/2008 22:31

Where dy find them Shabby? Just been up twice to those boys and read them the riot act! Thomas has just thrown his pyjamas at James, missed, hit his train on his overhead shelf, train droppped on James head, James screams and cries and call him a b**y pig! Father gone to bed shouting, shut up I need some rest, Becca shouting shut up I cant go to sleep, and now is out of bed saying she feels dizzy! Oh hells bells, stresssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!! Back in a min.

Hiya Rubester

The pennies from heaven moments have blown my mind

Matt would have thought that was hysterical - I cant find an explanation for it but it was amazing.

shabster · 11/05/2008 22:40

Rubes - you like your football dont you??

I would like to congratulate my team Manchester City on todays game!! I cant think of another team that have managed to loose so spectacularly on the last day of the season. Middlesborough beat us 8 (YES THATS EIGHT) goals to 1 (YES THAT IS A MEASLY ONE)

I have put that proud fact on my profile page on Facebook.

I will hold my head high tomorrow amongst the sea of (armchair) Man Utd fans and think of how many Geordies we have made happy

Rubes!!

I am used to the Mighty Manchester City - I've been a fan for 41 years!! Tomster just looked at the results on the tv, turned to me and tutted!! He wants to be a Man United fan and I have told him that I will let him wear a dress before he wears a red shirt. It confused him no end

Anyway I support Parathynikos (God help us they play in sky blue kits as well)

triplets · 11/05/2008 22:44

Shabs..........been with OJ on her special thread, it is very sad over there tonight, Steve has asked if its time to go. Absolutely heartbreaking, she is amazing.

The only Man Utd fans in Manchester are 'armchair' ones or ones like the mum at school who said, and I quote, 'England are a bit rubbish arent they? Why dont they get Ronaldo or Ryan Giggs to play for them' Hadn't the heart to tell her that they aren't English I just let her wander around asking everybody else [I live in the land of numptys emoticon]

shabster · 11/05/2008 22:47

OMG Trips - I cant go and even lurk - I always say stupid things that dont help. If you post on there again will you send my love......I am a coward.

piximon · 11/05/2008 22:47

news in the pixi house. DH gone to see his mum, the cancer has now spread to her brain, doctor says she may only have days left. Am worried his grief will manifest through anger at me for not getting along with her and for him not seeing much of her. I don't know what to say to him and he's now so far away I can't offer much support. I don't know if I should take the children to see her (about 6hr journey). Am waiting for DH to call me after he's seen her and had time to absorb the news.

Baby still not named. Appt on fri and no time with DH to discuss. I like Corwin/Corbin and Varron so progress being made.

Love to you all. I may not be posting much over the next week or so if I'm feeling too low, but will try to keep up. x

shabster · 11/05/2008 22:49

Oh Pixie - massive hug for all of you.

I live Corbin by the way.

Will be thinking about you xxxxxx

triplets · 11/05/2008 22:51

Pixi..................... what a rotten time we are all having, you cannot change anything, just be there for him. Look after you and the children, you have had such a rough time of it too. If there is anything we can do, please holler xxxx
