My connection is on and off quicker than a hoors drawers

DD1 still off, doc said it was virus and tonsils. She is well enough to return to school tomorrow though. Thats been a full week and a half of broken sleep and illness now they have all had this virus. Illness is my biggest dislike of childcare, it just goes on and on. When does immunity kick in?

Haven't managed to catch up but will try soon......

Still waiting FG... actually the twins ahve mostly been ok recently. They are qite a hardened duo though.

I am deaf in my left ear, it is sooo irritating. I laid down in the bath and it has been like it ever since, any ideas on how to pop it again? Gah!

Twinkle lovely babies, they look so clear!

slownorris, are we FB friends? My initials are VM, (I've forgotten who's who on there). Of course you can come, it's not a big thing, most of our friends can't make the drive down. After the disaster of DTs birthday (no one turned up) I feel sorry for DS1 if he has the same thing happen as he's old enough to know.

Momma, read your messages, if she changes her mind let me know, we have a passenger carrier so plenty of room for all four (5 if your DP wants to come).

DH was really down last night, he messaged me on MSN and said he feels so lonely left behind in London. Thing is we can't afford for him not to take this contract. Oh and to top off my night my SPD came back with a vengence, (think it's all the carrying DTs up and down the stairs) so I spent most of the night in pain.

But I'm going to be seeing Momma, TripEm, Doris, the slow norris and maybe Oooggs next weekend! Now if only I could persuade FG and LG&T that Exeter's not that far...and Egg that travelling with little DTs isn't so bad, well behaved or not

theslownorris · 30/01/2008 13:18

Thanks Pixi . I'll message you through FB to get details (my initials are CE). I have to confess I've made a note in the back of my home diary as to who's who. .

Well done Momma. So proud of you. Can't wait until you decide to do the ABM Lactation Consultant training.

Whoooo Hoooooo!!!!

My hairdresser has just had a cancellation so I can get my hair do 'adjusted' in time for the meet up and look all glam, down on the farm!!!!!!

largeginandtonic · 30/01/2008 19:06

I CANNOT believe i said that FG!!!

Jacob has been complaining of a sore leg (thought he had pulled a muscle) sice the weekend, today he came down ready for school and had a rash over the sore achy bit. I just knew it was Shingles... the doc confirmed it at 11 this morning. Poor thing. I am really hoping none of the others get it.

Little Jonah (now5) had Chicken pox so badly he nearly died and this is the same virus. I am incredibly worried. It's all my fault for saying they are healthy earlier!

How on earth does a healthy bouncy 9 year old get this? Gah!

DH came home to hysterical wife, he has gonee out for wine and takeaway to soothe me God love him.

help needed ladies

piximon · 30/01/2008 19:48

TripEm you are forbidden to breeze in here looking like top class strumpet, while I'm here blending in with the other pg cows!

Momma, congrats you really are an inspiration.

Bloody agent wrote today to say we can't have the property on Ladysmith road as it's too small for our requirements. Now if I had 5 teenagers I could understand, but the DCs are so little they're hardly there at all...(sigh). So homeless again and back to house hunting at weekends when DH comes down. I was supposed to have my hair cut on Sat (first time in almost a year) but my mum has arranged a viewing at the same time and neither can move the appt.

Why is everything so blinking difficult at the moment. Off to sob into a packet of minstrels...

iamdingdong · 30/01/2008 19:54

oh pixi your poor thing, life sucks at times, woudl a hot buttered crumpet help?

piximon · 30/01/2008 19:58

iamdingdong · 30/01/2008 20:03

piximon · 30/01/2008 20:09

Triplets - completely forgot to say I read a message recently about what a rough time you've been going through and everytime I log off I keep cursing myself for forgetting to send you a little hello message of support to you. I know what it's like to want to run away from home. Maybe you should take a break for a few days, Devon's lovely right now...

Was there a camp or something there for marines, I seem to remember something about that. We had a lovely time, took my Mum and Dad, can1t for the life of me remeber the name but took Matthew to some park, had a miniature railway, also went to Beer, Sidmouth etc, now I shall go and hunt out my photos. I wonder if Myrtle Cottage is still there, near a pub if I remember rightly

TripleyTigger · 30/01/2008 22:15

Pixi you are safe dear!!! I have put on half a stone since giving up the smokes so I will probably be matching you and the pG cows very soon!!!!
