Thanks for the welcomes! Mars did say you were a nice lot!

My boys are 9 weeks old tomorrow. I'm still in the 'shock and awe' period. Not too sure if i'm coming or going most days!

Twinkle, I was measuring 46weeks at 36weeks...just to give you an idea of size...

shabster · 07/02/2008 13:44

twinkle1 - am so envious of you - how special is it - being mum to twins. Dont worry about getting big - who gives a damm? No one does here thats for certain.

Whatever they tell you about me - take no notice! Im a really nice person!

Attic conversion - awwwww I want one. It sounds great.

a whole lotta sugar today thanks mommafeelgood. Looooooong night last night. Is it possible to have a growth spurt a 6 weeks and again at 9 weeks???

shabster · 07/02/2008 13:48

twolittlepigs - hiya - DTSons - wonderful. I walked around the first few months with just one eyebrow plucked!! and that was on a good day. I measured 50wks at 38wks and because I am only 4ft 11in I looked like one of those weebles - you know 'weebles wobble but they dont fall down.' Only put on 18lbs though - but seeing as I already resembled Dawn French it wasn't as good as it first sounds.

Yeeah go Little Pops - Scooby Doo is ace!

How exciting will your house be later on!!! Why not add some red haribo's to the mix - just for a laugh.

Go Little pops, go little pops........

MyOtherPersonalityIsTheSaneOne · 07/02/2008 14:14

I am lost again (it's GodzillasBumcheek here and yes i've changed my name but at least i'm not pretending this time) - what's happening?

Yes it does get better, and when they go to school it's great as they already know someone there!

It probably will help them, but evidently not you! Ach - you'll soon get used to it, but by heck the house does seem a lot roomier when they aren't in it!!

In honour of Triplets - 'trip to France' we have had coq au vin for our tea (dinner for anyone who is not from up t'north!!)

Ok I admit the au vin bit was out of an Asda sauce mix packet (4 for a pound - you cant complain)

DS4 at grans for his evening meal. Mum and dad are both in their 70's and they will come home twitching and saying 'he's been as good as gold'

MERLYPUSS · 07/02/2008 19:19

Mars Milk now in and formula stopped. Will use only in emmergency when sleep deprivation becomes unbearable. (i.e. rarely)

Ta for kind comments. Isaac (aka Squirrel, as in squirrel monkey) is squeeking so off to feed him. He is still not happy about rugby ball hold with Thomas but I am determined to suss it out. Little bugger.
Thomas however, will take it any way it comes where grub is concerned - just like dad.

HarrogateMum · 07/02/2008 19:41
