congratulations mp!!!

Well done and I aboslutely love that you are keeping your sense of humour.

piximon · 06/02/2008 19:08

Congratulations Merlypuss! Glad to hear you're all home and doing well.

Welcome Shabby, any friend of Triplets is a friend of ours. I'm a short arse too so always glad of the company.

Triplets, does your choc nut addiction cover choc almonds? If so I have a box I'd really like to send you. I can't eat almonds (love the taste in food, just can't eat the actual nut) so they're sitting here looking at me.

Grr Momma and SlowNoris, Doris has pulled out of Sat as well.

Actually had a good day today, think it helped that the sun was shining and we got to leave the house for a few hours of potting around the farm (have discovered I'm afraid of cow herds, one or two fine, big bunch all turning to look at me walking past, creepy). Then at bed time DS1 asked me "mummy, would you like me to buy you some vehicles when I grow up" me "err no thank you DS1 because I can't drive" DS1 "well I'm going to be very very rich so you can have whatever you like, if you want to be a van driver I can buy you a van and lessons..." or should that be

Lovely news Merly, two darling boys, I adore little boys, beautiful names you have given them too! I adore any nuts, shameful hussy that I am, ooh how very kind of you! Hi Shabster, feeling absolutely shattered after mu Mums big day today, think I have my first cold coming in over a year, so off for a hot bath, good book, and hopefully an early night as I am off to France tomorrow for a girls day out! Why are you fed up, whats brewing, or is it all this talk of inside legs?

triplets · 06/02/2008 19:14

Piximon............you will be my bestest friend

oooggs · 06/02/2008 19:20

piximon · 06/02/2008 19:24

lol Triplets, can you drop me an email with your address to piximon @ gmail . com (without spaces) so I can get Mr Postman (DH) or Mrs Postman (my mum) to whizz them off to you when they come visit for the weekend.

shabster · 06/02/2008 19:26

Merlypuss - wash out your mouth!!! South East - nay young lady. Me I'm from up t'north, where young lasses like me drink pale ale, roll their own cigs and dont wear coats when they go out for the night - not even in Winter.

Sunny little fishing village - Bolton - very picturesque - the North West Newquay!!!!

shabster · 06/02/2008 19:27

Sorry merlypuss that message was for oooggs - south east indeed!!

oooggs · 06/02/2008 19:35

sorry shabster sounds more like Looe or Polpero, I wouldn't compare anywhere nice to Newquay

shabster · 06/02/2008 20:59

I have been to Looe and also to Mousehole - both beautiful.

I just try to make Bolton sound picturesque!! Fail badly but...it's home. If you have ever watched the comedien Peter Kay (who comes from around here) every story he tells about Bolton is exactly right.

oooggs dont be sorry - I have a horrible sarcastic sense of humour!

Is Newquay horrible - I always fancied having a look at it!

Merly you've got to get those babies to your breast as much as you can. The combination feeding won't encourage your milk. Email me and get my number babe and we'll sort that out for you. btw CONGRATULATIONS

Actually Merly your birth story's almost identical to mine... - except we avoided the baby-not-breathing part, but lost four litres of blood in the blood-loss part. So for Xmas I got - some big bags of blood! MWA-HA-HA! (babes born xmas eve 24.12.06).
We did combination feeding too. No regrets - I'm no expert tho, but at the time it seemed like a good solution to a difficult situation - but I didn't know all you clever ladies then!

MarsLady · 06/02/2008 22:57

You say the right things AG

It's okay Shabby. Have decided to let you stay

Well I had some good news tonight (NO I'M BLARDY NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) which I can share tomorrow.

And... I got 71% for my last Creative Writing Assignment (an improvement of 1%) lol and my French course work arrived today. I've read what I need to do for the first assignment and I'm cacking myself! Sigh...

shabster · 06/02/2008 23:03

Marslady - I have poked my nose in your doula doodah! Do you help menopausal nutters? I would have loved someone like you when I was having my 4 DS.

I am impressed - creative writing, french!! I love texting and I know about 30 words in Greek - also love selling myself short!! You know what I mean - acting thick!

Must admit I luuuurrrvvvee to have a laugh - life for me couldn't go on if I had no sense of humour.

MarsLady · 06/02/2008 23:04

I like that name... doula doodah! Sounds like the title of a book!

accordiongirl · 06/02/2008 23:08
